Brand new hotel with excellent staff

Literally just opened the day before so a couple of small issues which were dealt with promptly but will definitely be ironed out soon. Staff were excellent, very attentive and friendly. Great hostel/hotel with a good vibe. I’m sure it will only get better with time. Highly recommend a stay here for all ages.

Great location!

We had a great stay at this hotel. The staff were so friendly and very helpful especially Andrea Arru. We did arrive when the hotel was under renovations which really did not affect our rooms and they were speedy quick doing the renovations elsewhere. The restaurant was not open while we were there, which would of been nice. The location of the hotel was perfect for walking. Definitely recommend

When I arrived I was told that I would be staying at another hotel due to hotel construction. The hotel staff said they sent me a message which I showed them I never received. I was escorted to a hotel that was $10 less than what I had paid for my original hotel. The hotel staff at the Holiday Hotel is rude, the toilet is broken, and the electronics keep making loud noises.

Hotel is old and need renovations in some area. Staircase has funny noise when walking on it. Did not expect hotel to be that worn down. I had booked 2 rooms, the more expensive room I booked is not much better than the cheaper one, only extra snacks on the table. Despite all these unfavorable conditions. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

This hotel was NOT good… we checked in and went to shower only to find out the shower doesn’t drain at all, you can shower for 1 minute max and then it takes 5-7 minutes to drain. Notified the hotel immediately and nothing was fixed in the 3 days we were there. The room had a balcony but the metal rolling cover over it was broken so we couldn’t use it or get any airflow in the room. They were also doing renovations on the floor above ours (which we weren’t notified about in advance) so we paid full price for a room where there was EXTREMELY loud construction from 8 am until 6 pm every day we were there. Nothing about this hotel was relaxing or comforting… we were miserable while we were there. If the room had been refundable we would have moved to another hotel.

Nothing to complain about

I do not agree with the complains of other guests. My superior room 514 was spacious, clean and had a stunning view over the Old Town. I had an electric kettle to make tea and coffee. Nothing was broken. The room was really quiet. The staff will surpass your expectations. The hotel is expensive but very well located so I was happy with my choice.

Good for the night on a budget

The hotel is in a great location of Bologna. Hotel staff is very nice and available 24/7. Shower heat and water pressure was good. Bed and pillows a bit hard but manageable. Unfortunately, there was a lot of noise from the room above and from the neighborhood in the early hours of the morning 4-5am. If you are a very light sleeper you may need to avoid. Otherwise, this is an economical convenient choice if you’re on a budget.
