I could not find my reservation for this property for some reason in the app as I was driving over 5 hours to bring my daughter to college in Boone NC. It was late at night and I was starting to worry so I tried to call but couldn’t get anyone to answer. I then booked another reservation at another hotel because it was late and I didn’t want to get there at 1 am with no place to stay. A few days later, I realized a charge was made to my credit card so I immediately reached out to Expedia, I explained the situation and the trouble I had I ended up paying over $100 more at the other hotel so I would’ve gladly stayed at the Holiday Inn had I been able to pull up the reservation or get someone on the phone. Expedia tried to call them multiple times and had to chase the manager around to try to get someone on the phone only for them to be so insensitive to the situation and they were not willing to budge so I ended up paying $124 for a mistake that was not my fault and they refused to credit it back. I do not recommend this hotel, they are not customer first!!!!! There are many other decent hotels in the Boone area check their first!!! I will be traveling to Boone to visit my daughter, but I will not be staying at this hotel!!
