Additional Information: As the owners of the very popular Black Pearl Over Water Bungalow in Bora Bora, we can't tell you how excited we are to offer, for the first time, Marlon Brando's historic over water bungalow for vacation rentals. We remodeled the bungalow to meet the needs of our sophisticated travelers and it is beautiful. Marlon Brando owned two bungalows, one for him and one for his friends. We have purchased both. Both Brando's Bora Bora Bungalow and Marlon's over water hideaway are the perfect location for snorkeling, walking hiking and swimming. Paradise surrounds you.
If you need help with rental cars, international or domestic flights, we can help with that too. We have many returnees and we are confident that this will be your vacation of a lifetime! Our rates are very affordable, especially if you've checked out the prices of some of the 4 and 5 star hotels on the island. Our home is a true travel bargain.
Please reserve early as high season books up fast.

Car Rental: You will need a car. Other options are carts, bikes, taxi and water taxi (Not always available).

We absolutely LOVED our stay here! Everything was exactly as described and we enjoyed every second of our stay! From snorkeling off the dock, playing cribbage on the deck at sunset, and getting the surprise of a lifetime when a flying fish paid us a visit, soaring out of the water twice in dramatic fashion! And a couple visits by rays as well!!!The rental car from Nir was so convenient, and he and his wife were available to us for all our needs! Phenomenal vacation! I hope we get to do it again someday!

We loved being over the water and able to get in and out of the water so easily. We had plenty of space for dive and snorkel gear. It was very peaceful to sit on the deck and watch the boats and fish. One night a manta ray swam by. The host was helpful and when we had a couple of issues he managed to get them resolved very quickly. Great trip.

We had a fantastic stay at the bungalows! Our group of seven rented both two-bedroom units and found them to be spacious and comfortable. The location offers a relaxed, local vibe while still being conveniently close to town. A rental car is definitely recommended—and can be arranged if needed.We spent a lot of time enjoying the patio and swim area, where we saw an abundance of sea life. The double kayaks were a great bonus and added to the experience.Nir and his wife were incredibly helpful and always quick to respond, and the owner, Richard, was also very easy to communicate with.For anyone interested in diving, we highly recommend booking a dive with Hiro, located just down the road. Overall, a wonderful stay and we'd gladly return!

We were pleased with the unit, just didn't realize it was so close to the main road but since Bora Bora only has one main road I guess it was inevitable! The bungalows were nice but a bit old. The deck was spacious and covered but if you wanted to lay in the sun at all it had to be on the small deck with the ladder leading to the water. It was only about 15 minutes from down town so that was nice. Over all our stay was restful and very nice. Our host arranged a snorkle / lunch tour and they picked us up right at our dock.

Our expectations for this bungalow were very high and were fulfilled in every way. The property managers were so helpful in providing a car rental and transfer from the ferry terminal. The view was sensational across the lagoon to the sunset and passing outriggers. We couldn't have made a better choice!

A Bora Bora gem of peace and tranquility!

From the moment we booked we have been delighted with the care owners and the managers have offered us. We were so looked after. The bungalow had all we needed and more. The rooms and beds were comfy and easy to maintain a comfortable temperature. The deck is so spacious it’s like having a whole extra room. We had a great girls trip to celebrate a milestone birthday and this was a spectacular place to do it. Nir and Tiare really got the extra mile to communicate and organize almost any activity or meet any need with genuine friendliness. This was one of the most delightful places I have stayed and much of it was due to their hospitality. I will surely recommend to friends and family.

Great location and excellent hosts!

The over water bungalow was clean and convenient. We could snorkel right outside and saw a lot of fish. Nir and Tiare were very helpful with suggestions and recommendations and even helped us book the activities. Renting the car from Nir was hassle free. Highly recommend this place and look forward to visiting again.

Jump on In - A Piece of Paradise

We had a fantastic stay at this overwater bungalow. It had everything we wanted, especially wonderful views from the balcony and ability to jump in and out of the gorgeous waters whenever we wanted. Not being in a resort allowed us to really experience the island life in Bora Bora. The manager, Nir, was extremely helpful with everything from renting us a car to reserving lagoon tours and restaurants. Highly recommended if you want a down to earth experience in paradise.

A rare gem

Nir was absolutely wonderful to work with, helped coordinate shuttles to and from the airport, hooked us up with an inexpensive rental car and gave the best recommendations for activities and food while visiting. The bungalow was stunning and everything we dreamt about while staying here. Beautiful sunset right off our own private dock, great snorkeling steps away and access to all the fun of the island. Highly recommend if you don't have celebrity money to spend at a resort. Maaruuru!!

Our stay in Brando’s overwater bungalow number one was amaizing. We stayed there for three weeks and it felt realy like home for us. That was actually purpose of choosing this bungalow over hotels and resorts. The bungalow has everything you need for longer or shorter stay. Particularly the wash mashine was very useful, and full kitschen equipment as well. Staying in bungalow you need a car, than you can enjoy visiting Vaitape, Matira beach and lot of restaurants. I recomend Beach club for amaizing sunsets, El Gecko and St. James. For Car Rental and for everything you need ask Nir. It was pleasure to meet him and his beautiful family and to visit his spectacular home. Dear Nir, thank you for everything. Also booking process and payment was very simple. We got all of the information from Richard, so we had no problems at all, everything was done as agreed. We wish we can visit Bora Bora every year, but its to far from Switzerland, nevertheless we hope to come back as soon as possible. Mauruuru

Amazing Vacation

The property was everything we were hoping for, and had everything that we needed. We enjoyed the location at the north of the island, as we felt more of a local vibe. We definitely needed the car to get around, and Nir and Tiare made the client car easy and reasonably priced. Bora Bora is the most beautiful place I have ever been, and I plan to return someday in the future.

Absolutely beautiful

We loved our stay here. The managers were very helpful, communicative, and friendly. Check in was easy and the view was incredible. Bora Bora was our favorite island and none of our stays compared to this one. Our only complaint was the lack of snorkeling off the dock, and not many fish to look at (not the fault of the owners,) and we were not able to use the kayak as far as we would have liked because one of the oars was broken. It was quiet and the bed was comfortable.

Perfect Bora Bora OWB for Us!

Property and property manager were magical—a beautiful stay from beginning to end. No big resort over-water bungalow pretensions, instead, we had freedom to see all of Bora Bora (by renting a car from Nir), help with logistics and activities planning (thanks Nir and Tiare!), and sublime times snorkeling, floating, cooking, and relaxing in the bungalow. Loved this stay!!!

Fabulous overwater stay

We loved everything about our stay, booking, communication and location. Our recommendation would be to add a blender. Wr would have brought one had the description not said there was one in the bungalow. Overall, hardly worth mentioning but if you plan on morning smoothies bring a blender. Wonderful placento celebrate our 50th Wedding Anniversary! Thanks Richard and Tiera you both were amazing to work with.

An amazing place!

What a spectacular bungalow. The hosts Nir and Tiare were so great and very accommodating, even picking us up from the port and allowing us to rent their vehicle (which is a must). The location was perfect and the bungalow exceeded our expectations. Getting used to the business hours in town and restaurants were a little tricky but overall everlasting memories were made and would not hesitate to return to Bora Bora and stay here again.
