The property was a decent size and felt more like a small home then a static. The furnishings were of a high standard and we were impressed with the maintenance of the hot tub being checked twice a day. The beds were comfortable and a decent size and there was plenty of hanging space. The resort was really peaceful although this meant there were limited facilities.
Had a lovely stay. Perfect for us and blessed with good weather. Outside of caravan could do with a spruce up but overall clean and tidy. Dog walks on hand perfect too
First on arrival you had my name wrong and the lodge was for disabled and we were not. Adam on reception was very helpful and a very nice young man.
One thing i think you need is a little shop for the milk bread etc as your site is getting bigger.
Never the less my friend and i enjoyed our stay thank you.
Comfortable stay with a warm welcome. We took the dog so we had a welcome pack for her and the kitchen which we thought was a lovely touch.
The food in the restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced.
Would stay again.
Restaurant was very good. The location was excellent and the hot tub was a great addition. The Woodland Lodge was very spacious and great for a large family break.
Would have given it 5 stars if we'd have been able to have a go at the footgolf. The price seemed good just wasnt sure on the condition of the playing area so we didnt risk it. The place was so tranquil. We'd potentially go again maybe in summer though although it was plenty warm enough even in the coldest days of winter
Stayed for 3 nights as a family in a 5+2 hot tub lodge. Lodge was lovely and new with all the mod cons. Really homely feel. Caravan site is lovely and quiet with the exception of the road that runs behind it which can be a little noisy at times but maybe we noticed this more as we live in the country. Site looks new and a work in progress. Not a lot around locally. Have to travel a way to find things to do but overall would recommend it if you want a quiet break. If you want entertainment for the family, this possibly isnât the best.
Wonderful place to stay for convenience of family living in Boston. Small park with lots of space between vans, which is lovely as you don't feel jammed in.
Picked as dog friendly, nice touch to have a dog welcome pack. lovely dog walking area on old part of golf course, shame if they extend onto this area, saw deer, bird of prey and an owl whilst out walking the dog. Caravan spacious and impressed with cleanliness only down side is we could have done with a bedding changed during our stay but we didn't ask if they could do this and a hoover as we collected mud from dog walking.
Would recommend this caravan park for a stay.
Facilities: bar, dog friendly, open all week but only served food Fri-Sun, this maybe due to the time of year (Dec). Did have coffee one afternoon and dinner and drinks one night made to feel extremely welcome with the pooch.
Staff: amazingly friendly and helpful, felt well looked after and they went out of their way to assist us, bloody marvellous thank you
