I recently stayed at a hotel with several notable features and a few areas for improvement. The location of the hotel was convenient, and I appreciated the ample parking right next to the building. The staff was welcoming and helpful with various details, which made my stay pleasant.
However, I encountered some issues. The public transport options in this area were quite limited, necessitating the use of a car for most travel. Additionally, the hotel's proximity to the highway meant that the noise levels in the rooms were quite high. While the hotel provided noise-cancelling devices to help mitigate this, I found them to be a mixed blessing. These devices, intended to mask room noise with background sound, were unfortunately non-adjustable and created a constant, somewhat unpleasant noise. This, combined with the traffic noise, did not contribute to a peaceful sleeping environment. On a positive note, I didn’t experience any disturbances from neighboring rooms on the 11th floor, which was a relief.
The morning buffet, while convenient, was somewhat limited and felt overpriced considering the variety offered. On the brighter side, the hotel’s restaurant was a lovely experience. It boasted a great ambiance and was staffed by welcoming personnel.
Overall, while there were aspects of my stay that I enjoyed, there are certainly areas where the hotel could improve, especially in terms of noise management and value for money in their dining options.
