The Rouffignac Cottage

Our 70 m² cottage, on one level, embodies the authenticity of the Périgord house while offering all the modern comfort necessary for an ideal holiday. It is designed to accommodate two people, but can easily accommodate a small family thanks to a sofa bed. The accessibility of this cottage, without stairs or obstacles, is a real asset, making your stay both pleasant and practical.

The suite features an elegant bedroom, with a large double bed, with direct access to a luxurious bathroom equipped with a bathtub and shower. You can choose between a relaxing bath or an invigorating shower depending on your mood. The spacious living room, with its comfortable sofa bed, is the perfect place to relax in front of the TV or enjoy a good book. The open kitchen, fully equipped, includes an oven, a refrigerator, a hob, a dishwasher, as well as a washing machine, allowing you to prepare your meals just like at home.

Outside, you benefit from a private shaded terrace, equipped with furniture, perfect for your outdoor meals or to simply enjoy moments of relaxation in the shade. A barbecue is also at your disposal for friendly grills.

Services and Amenities

• Swimming pool : Accessible from May 1st to September 30th, the swimming pool may be open before or after these dates depending on weather conditions. (Pool towels not provided).
• Tennis : A charming country tennis court is at your disposal (rackets not provided).
• Outdoor leisure : A large trampoline, a ping-pong table, and a children's play area with slide and swings, for moments of relaxation and fun in the open air.
• Baby beds : We provide baby beds and all the necessary comforts free of charge (fine linens on request).
• Heating : A “heating costs” package is included in your rate (€15/day of heating) for a comfortable stay in all seasons.
• Bed and bathroom linen : Luxury quality bed linen (€15 per single bed, €30 per double bed) and bathroom sets (€10 per person) available as an option. Your beds will be carefully prepared by our team.

Location and Surroundings

The Domaine du Château de Monciaux is located near Bourrou, on the road to Manzac-sur-Vern, in a natural and serene environment. The Périgord, rich in historical, prehistoric and gastronomic heritage, is an unmissable destination. You can discover historical sites, such as towns and castles, prehistoric caves and enjoy local specialties such as truffles, foie gras and wines. The weekly organic market of Bourrou, open all year round, and the shops in Villamblard (7 km away) add to the charm of the region.

The estate is also an excellent starting point for hiking, with paths accessible from the hamlet.
