Bowie Acres is set on 40 acres of wilderness area near Lake Amon G. Carter. The property secluded and at the end of a dead-end driveway. The home is set above Lake Amon G. Carter offering a panoramic view of the lake. Best views are during fall and winter. You will have access to 40 acres to hike and enjoy nature. There are no trails as this property is untamed. Bring your fishing poles as the lake is just down the hill. Lake Carter is stocked with largemouth bass, crappie and catfish. The wildlife you could see are deer, racoons, possums, rabbits, coyotes and large assortment of birds.

Nearby attractions are downtown Bowie with thrift shops, second-hand resale stores, restaurants, and on some weekends Second Mondays (large flea market).
