I look forward to welcoming you to my property. A spacious lovely old world charm brick home, built in 1927. It has soaring 10'ft decorative ceilings, log fireplace in living room, timber floorboards throughout, modern kitchen with new appliances, oven, cooktop, microwave and traditional tiled bathroom all within 200m walk to Bowral local cafes, fashion shops and more. Golf is just a short 5minute drive to bowral golf course.

Lovely charming victorian windows and lots of sunlight.
Comfy and cosy for families and groups in winter with the log fire in the living rooms - great for toasting marshmallows (all local Service stations supply bags of wood, kindling and fire starters).
* Please be assured that prior to every guest stay the home is professionally cleaned on entry and exit and all linen is laundered.

We had a great weekend in Bowral. The house is great and spacious enough for a group of friends. Easy walk into town with coffee just down the road for the early risers. Thank you.

Charming Bowral Cottage 5/5
Well located beautiful cottage in Bowral. A large block well set back from the street with 4 bedrooms tastefully decorated with old world charm, and lots of space to enjoy a break in the Southern Highlands.

The property was in a great location. The bedrooms were nice and big and the house had a quaint vibe.The decor could use updating and it would be nice to see cobwebs removed from the corners of the ceiling. Overall, it was warm and cosy and we had a nice stay .

Lovely old house in a great location

We had a lovely girls weekend here, close to everything.However, you will need to bring milk and tea and coffee if you don’t want to have to go to the supermarket on arrival.The house was very warm and cosy and we did not need to light the fire. Host was easy to communicate with.

A perfect location

The house is roomy and very comfortable - The pictures on the site must have been taken quite some time ago and is not an accurate representation of what you walk into.Beware that there is no WiFi - the advert may have changed - if you are going with kids who are data hungry then be sure to take a WiFi device with you.If you have disability with respect to knees / hips / back - the bath may well be problematic for you.We hired the house given its proximity to the town centre - four mates who were there to enjoy their golf, drinks and chatter. For us, the place was perfect.Communication with the property manager was exceptional and she tried her hardest to make sure we got in as early as we could, thank you.

Disappointing

We chose this property for its proximity to town, which was great. Unfortunately the house looked nothing like the warm, cosy environment that was depicted in the photos, actually it was far from it. On opening the door we were hit with a stale mouldy smell which didn’t go away. Poor quality bedding and old towels which we had to look for didn’t help. All the bedrooms had seriously cracked walls and the furniture had been staged for the website. The house has been seriously neglected. It was advertised as having air conditioning which it didn’t and a fire place with no wood made it very uncomfortably cold. Cleanliness was defiantly an issue. This had made me wary of believing in this website again. We left first thing in the morning and avoided going back until bedtime for both days of our stay. Would definitely not recommend this property to anyone.

A lovely way to enjoy the Southern Highlands

We all enjoyed our stay in this very well located house. There was some confusion regarding wifi and this could have been made clearer to us on the original listing. It would also have helped our check in if we had been told the name of the street where the on site car park was located (house was on a corner and we had a little trouble locating the car entry point). Otherwise it was a very enjoyable stay and there was plenty to enjoy locally.

A quaint roomy house which was close to the main precinct. House is well equipped and spacious. We enjoyed our stay over a Day on the Green weekend and bus transport to event made the location of house convenient.

Warm and welcoming

Our group of retired friends continued our tradition of gathering annually to catch up and enjoy life. Casa Antica ticked all of the boxes to ensure we all had a great time.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

Our group had arranged a weekend away in Bowral and booked this property in hopes of a pleasant experience; however, we were greatly deceived. Despite the good location of the property in regards to the main strip of Bowral, we had faced several issues during our stay. Upon arrival, we noticed that there was an alarming number of cracks on the walls, lights weren't working in certain rooms, linen was stained, along with a stale smell, dust being rampant throughout all the rooms; all of which was not disclosed in the advertisement of the property. We understand a "1920's" property would be lived in, but again, this was not outlined in the advertisement. The cleanliness was so poor that one our group members suffered a severe allergic eczema reaction and had to seek medical attention. Although not an issue but a factor to keep in mind, the maintenance of the property was poor; unlike the photo the gardens of the property hadn't been recently cared for. Following our stay, we received a message and an extra fee of $200 from the host accusing us of leaving the property in a state with so much rubbish, which is false, as we disposed all of our rubbish in the outside bins. Along with clogging the outside toilet with wipes, to which we DID NOT use. In addition to the $200 extra fee, she has claimed she will forward a "costly" plumbing fee. If you check the previous reviews of this property, the host has a reputation of this accusatory behaviour. In saying this, DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

Lovely quaint little home close to town

We enjoyed our stay during a cold Winter weekend. Fireplace was a highlight. Big backyard for the kids to play and short stroll to the main street of Bowral.

A great getaway from Sydney.

We thoroughly enjoyed our girls weekend away from Sydney. Staying here was very convenient and close to town which as a group gave us the flexibility we needed. It was warm, cozy and spacious. However on entry the house was a bit musty and it was lacking nice touches like milk and enough tea bags. Other than that we were happy.
