The staff were great, but there was a lack of communication between shifts at the front desk. And, there was a lack of communication between front desk staff and the cleaning team. But, they were quick to recognize this and corrected it. There are little facility upgrades needed, but it is an overall great experience.

For the price, I expected much more. The room felt like a small guest room in someone’s house rather than a hotel. There’s no on-site parking, which was disappointing. I was told I could pay $30 for valet, where they take your car to a public lot two blocks away, or $15 to park it there myself. There were at least ten open spaces in their lot, but apparently, those aren’t for guests. The front desk attendant at check-in wasn’t very friendly either. She seemed surprised I was even there, maybe I didn’t fit their “typical” guest profile, but either way, it wasn’t a warm welcome. Honestly, I wouldn’t stay here again even if it were free

The front desk staff was so kind and helpful. The property is also well maintained and clean. I didn't give 5 star in cleanliness because of the carpet. How can anyone possibly keep carpet clean? When are going hotels stop using carpet?

The layout of the room was unconventional, but we liked it. The sink was outside of the bathroom… so with 2 people it was unexpectedly handy. I did not like the blood stains on my sheets and pillows. Super gross. Like really unacceptable conditions. I slept in the other bed. Thankfully 2 people and 2 queen beds. I was so jet lagged- I simply moved over to the other bed. I expected housekeeping to change the sheets the next day. Busy day touring college, came back to dirty bed.. again too tired to deal with it. Check in/out was painless and easy. Breakfast was standard and uninspiring but it’s what you get everywhere with this kind of hotel. The waffles were good, the rest for us was a pass.
