Overall, the stay was fine. Check-in was easy and the room quality was what I expected for the cost (I.e., more of a nicer motel vibe). Excellent location in Bozeman, easy walk to restaurants. A few downsides: *Paper thin walls - we could hear everything all night and barely slept. I think they know this because they provide earplugs in the rooms. *Not dog friendly - allowing dogs for a fee and being dog friendly are quite different. No dog area on property. Limited dog amenities. *Odd parking system - limited parking on the premises but not staffed enough to really offer valet.

The location for downtown Bozeman was great. The bed was comfortable. All the essentials were provided. However, it was very noisy inside and outside of the room. Outside noise traffic was disturbing to my sleep. Inside, I could hear through the walls of my room and the heater kicking off and on all night also made a lot of noise. I will not stay at this location again. Also, I was not informed at the time of booking my room that there would be a $30 parking fee if I wanted to keep my car safely in a lot outside.

Great location. Awesome coffee and customer service (no breakfast). The front desk staff provided the best restaurant recommendations. Loved the outdoor fireplace and smores. The rooms are small - there were 3 of us and it was hard to move around with our luggage. I didn’t realize we would have to pay for parking on site, but luckily were able to find off street parking a few blocks away. I’d stay again, but request a bigger room next time.

The Lark has its all, convenience to great shopping and restaurants, great coffee in the morning and smokes by the fireplace in the evening. The staff was fantastic and I forgot my Apple Watch charger and they had one for me that I could borrow while we stayed there. They did the simple things right and the rooms were clean, comfortable and had great soaps, shampoos and conditioners. We will be back and we highly recommend The Lark for your stay in downtown Bozeman!
