Give it a shot!

The hotel is older, BUT I want to say it is clean, team was friendly and helpful. The room is clean, comfortable, smells good (sometimes you find odd smells in hotels), and I feel safe. So, despite the fact that it has an older appearance, I would absolutely recommend it. I will stay again when in the area.

Rooms were updated, had one room for a reasonable price and the second room - same room type was $80 more. Very overpriced for hotel. Breakfast was limited as most items were gone.

New updated rooms. The biscuits and gravy was really good that we had in the breakfast area. Only complaint was the tables were dirty and not being wiped off which wouldn't taken long since the area is smaller.

We had the room at the top of the stairs. It was loud. The tv did no work on local channels. The room was warm and never cooled down. I set it to 61. We were not asked how are stay was on checkout. That room should be less money that the quiet end of the hall.

Room looked recently renovated and was clean and comfortable. Walls were thin and sounds next door and in hallway carried. Nice breakfast area and selection. Friendly staff.

Manager/owner lack of accountability!!!!

Check in took 30 minutes due to the clerk not being at the deck. I called twice and they didn’t pick up. So I hunted them down in a room around the corner. She was not properly trained and had to call the manager owner who didn’t pick up for several calls. She couldn’t ( or wouldn’t) let me go to my room despite having paid in full because she didn’t know how to do the 50.00 hold. I offered to let her photo copy my card but that wouldn’t work. Finally the owner picked up and after another 10 minutes was able to train her to put the hold on my card. He was not apologetic and pushed back saying “people make mistakes”. Jacob the day clerk however was great! Good service and pleasant demeanor! I would have rated the hotel a zero if it weren’t for him. Also there was no sweetener for the coffee in the morning.
