Cabin Cleanliness IssuesThe cabin was not clean upon arrival. This was a significant disappointment especially after the stressful check-in process. We found candy on the floor and grass on the stairs.Difficult and Misinformed Check-inThe initial confusion and poor guidance during check-in were a major inconvenience, occurring late at night (after 12:30AM. We accidentally went to the wrong check-in location. The person we contacted provided wrong information about the correct club house. She incorrectly confirmed it had stairs, & that the lock box was located inside the lobby. The employee was clearly unfamiliar with the club house. The lockbox for our cabin key was outside. She failed to provide a simple, crucial detail—what was behind the club house—until after several attempts to find the lock box, causing unnecessary frustration and delay.It it important to know that the club house location is at least 10 minutes away. If we needed anything ( e.g. a blanket) it took 10 minutes to get to get there.. For check-out, we were required to return the key to the club house instead of being able to leave it in the cabin.Furthermore, we purchased tickets through the resort. When I called to ask about the tickets, the person I spoke to informed me that a voucher should have been given at check in at the club house. The resort did give us a free pizza certificate but we were unable to use. The cabin living room is dark and more lighting is needed outside of cabin.
