Enjoy year round fishing in a 1200 square foot apartment with 2brs and 2 baths. One living area with a full-size kitchen with all essentials for cooking. Stairs leading up to the apartment with a porch with grilling looking out at the lake. Separate dock for fishing and area for swimming. Two blocks from a boat launch and five miles from town.

Barndo Stay

Friends and I stayed at this amazing place. It was great and we thoroughly enjoyed the views and atmosphere. John was a great host. We will stay there again in the future. Less than 5 minutes from the boat ramp. Great fishing and lots of memories!

Lake getaway

Great space, comfortable and clean. Access to the lake was adequate, adults and kids were able to get in the water even though the lake was pretty low. Everyone had a great time and we thank you!

Sadly I did not actually get stay at property due to change of schedule with our fishing tourney. Host was easy to work/communicate with and property was right where I wanted to be. Would book again if the tourney comes back.

"Our" new lake house

Perfect! Parking reserved for guest next to stairs of the apartment. There are many steps up to apartment, but well worth it. There is a gate that closes off the steps, so children and pets are safe. The kitchen was had everything you needed plus a dish washer. It was clean, smelled fresh and welcoming, and was well maintained. The beds were comfortable. The bathrooms were clean. Plenty of space to move around and not feel crowded or in others space. I just loved this place. I have only mentioned the inside of the apartment. The outside is amazing. The apartment seems to be on a slight hill overlooking the water. There is an area at the top of the stairs that is a balcony where you can enjoy the beautiful sunset. There is also a huge yard between the apartment and lake where you can play tether ball, sewsaw, swing on a bench swing, and have a small fire at night. I sure I am missing something. Still have not made it to the lake where theres a pier to fish from or just sit and reflect. A friendly neighborhood dog was fun to play with, and never made himself a bother. Then at night, the stars come out and they seem to like the area as much as i do, because it felt like i could touch them. We will return to "our" lake house. My son said he would live there if he could. Go check it out. The host is great, available, and ever so patient as i asked a million questions. Dont hesitate - Book. You wont be sorry.

Property was very nice for us.

My father in law and I stayed for 3 days. John had everything set up for us when we arrived. It is very roomy and has everything we needed. He set up a place for cleaning fish and a place to charge the boat. Overall it was great.
