I wanted to stay in a place that had history and felt uniquely English. This is why I picked Marygreen Manor. The garden was beautiful, the history was interesting, the staff were wonderful, the food was delicious, and the beds were so comfortable. I enjoyed having coffee on the lawn. It was so peaceful.

Room to hot no aircon

Hotel very dated, room cluttered with dark furniture. Air con not working, asked reception for another fan and was told we can not move you as fully booked just open your windows, great as they was open en but being on ground floor in main walkway proved an issue for security as the room could easily be broken into!!!!

The property was lovely and full of character The common areas where very comfortable and there was plenty of space. The young man who dealt with us could not have done more to make us feel welcome. The room had everything we needed. The only downside was the bed was lumpy and perhaps needed an upgrade, this did not spoil an otherwise enjoyable stay.

Upgraded to executive suite which was very nice & quiet despite the main roads. Shower leaked onto the floor and two lamps faulty. Restaurant service was only average

The Marygreen Manor was lovely and was located less than a mile from plenty of shopping and dining options on High Street. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the room overlooking the garden was lovely. Afternoon tea is a must!
