Spacious apartment in Brides les Bain, The Three Valleys, with mountain views

The apartment is just 300m from the centre of Brides Les Bain and 600m from the Gondola, which gives direct access to Meribel and the whole of the three Valleys - the largest ski area in the world. The apartment is massive 56m2 which includes a large living and dining area, newly re-fitted kitchen, one double bedroom (King size bed) with ensuite shower room, one bunk room, one bathroom with bath and shower and a separate toilet. There is a cabin area with bunk beds in the hallway, this is a cosy but spacious area separated by a curtain for privacy.
The sofa bed coverts to 2 full size single beds, with good mattresses that can be put together or separated. The kitchen is well equipped with microwave, full size oven/grill, induction hob, soup maker, slow cooker, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, dishwasher, large fridge/freezer, washing machine and more kitchenware than you will need to self cater for 6 people.The apartment Sleeps 6 comfortably. Free underground parking is provided, with easy access to the apartment lifts for unloading. FREE UNLIMITED and very reliable WIFI in the apartment (serves only our apartment) also Satellite TV with endless English and French Channels and large 32 inch screen. There is a large balcony with seating and stunning views across the mountains.
We have now owned the apartment for 14 years and have made many improvements and additions. If you have stayed in any Les Cybeles apartments before ours has many extras and advantages.
We have tried to keep additional costs to a minimum, secure underground parking is free, WIFI and Satellite TV are free. The apartment is equipped with everything you need. You can bring your own towels and bedding, or hire from us at just the cost for laundering. Duvets (1 king size, 5 singles), blankets and pillows are supplied. We supply tea, coffee and sugar . In addition soap, shower gel, cleaning materials, washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets will all be in the apartment. All linen you have ordered will be in the apartment so you don't need to queue at reception. There is plenty of storage space and lots of hooks for drying wet ski clothes.
We have negotiated a 40% discount on ski and equipment hire at Intersport in the village and next to the gondola.
Keys will be in a key safe outside the apartment, including a fob to open the underground garage. You will be given a security number for the key safe once we have received your final payment. You can therefore arrive as late as you like with no fear of not getting in!
A car is helpful in the summer, but for the winter season everything you need is close by. The gondola is 600m away; a 10 minute walk or there is a ski bus which runs from the bottom of the drive every 15 minutes which goes directly to the gondola. All the amenities of Bride Les Bain are less than a 5 minute walk. If you have a car there is an enormous 'Super U' supermarket a few minutes away on the Moutiers road which is very good value. Without a car it would be worth a taxi trip to stock up on food for the week if you are self catering as it is much cheaper than the local small super market.
Brides-les-Bains in the Savoie region is a genuinely all-year-round resort village. It is part of the 3 Valleys, height 600 m and connects to the ski slopes by gondola located only 600 m from the apartment which takes you to the Meribel ski runs, and from there you have access to the whole of the three valleys. Brides-les-Bains is also famous for its thermal spa and bathing facilities dedicated to weight loss and muscular or joint problems. The unique 1500 m2 spa for your after ski, or summer relaxation features hammam (Turkish steam baths), sauna, body care and a relaxation room. The Spa makes the town ideal if you are a mixed group of skiers and non-skiers.
In the summer Brides les Bain is as lively as in the winter and is a great base to explore the Alps (walking, mountain biking, horse riding, white water rafting, kayaking etc). It is a very pretty town with a central river area, lots of lovely shops, bars, cafes and restaurants, but without the high prices of the rest of the three valleys. There is an excellent market every Wednesday in the summer months. Within a 5 minute walk of the apartment you will find a post office, chemist, doctors surgery, numerous and varied shops, bars, cafes and restaurants. Also a disco and casino! Bride Les Bain is an incredibly pretty and friendly little town, with a beautiful central river area and everything you need for both a winter ski holiday and summer activities or Spa.

The Three Valleys, in the heart of the French Alps has rightly earned its name as the largest integrated skiing area in the world. 330 marked ski-slopes offer a total of 600 kilometres of pure skiing enjoyment. Thanks to around 180 ski-lifts, the ski-slopes (between 1300m and 3200 m) are reached quickly and easily, including glacier areas. The enormous infrastructure of ski-runs and lifts connects not only the large ski stations at Val Thorens, Les Menuires, Meribel-Mottaret and Courchevel with one another but also the up-and-coming smaller skiing locations at Saint Martin and La Tania.
The Belleville valley, with the ski stations St. Martin, Les Menuires and Val Thorens, the Courchevel valley with its tiered landscape districts of Courchevel 1300, 1550, 1650 and 1850 are all connected together with the centrally situated Méribel valley into a massive skiing area. Good Skiers can experience all three valleys of the skiing area in a single day, having the choice of countless ski-runs. However there is something for everyone from easy to difficult runs, so that experienced skiers as well as beginners can enjoy the three Valleys.

Apart from the best skiing conditions, the area is also excellent for snowboarders. There are several funparks and their own area for boardercross and halfpipe in each of the three valleys. Val Thorens, (2,300m) lures 1,500 snowboarders every December from across the whole world to the legendary Boarderweek, with competitions, concerts and numerous events. Skiers are also offered extra variety with countless mogul runs, endless deep-snow slopes, demanding tours and the possibility to go heli-skiing. Cross-country skiers are well catered for with 118 kilometres of well marked trails. In addition there many snow-shoe treks on marked routes of different lengths and difficulty levels.
There are four different toboggan runs, which may also be used at night, The Tête Ronde toboggan run in Val Thorens, the highest run of its kind in Europe is 6 kilometres long; it starts at a height of 3000 metres, and ends at 700 metres. A journey that takes approximately 30 minutes. Other toboggan runs – including one for inflatable toboggans, amongst other things - can be found in Courchevel and Les Menuires.
There are many ski and boarding schools in Meribel, including ESF but also several English schools. The Olympic Centre in Meribel has an ice rink, Olympic size pool with kids pool and slides, and crèche facilities, All literally just at the top of the Gondola from Brides Les Bain. Meribel offers endless more opportunities for Apres-Ski, cafes, restaurants and shops.
