As expected for a great price

The accommodation is quite small, about the size of a standard hotel room. I think the building is a 3 unit townhouse. The room has a small kitchen though with a sink, gas range, microwave, toaster and mini fridge/freezer. It's tucked just far enough away that we found ourselves walking at least 15 minutes to get just about anywhere to start. One of the closer nearby walks worth visiting is Carlisle Bay though - lots of water activities, bars/restaurants, and nice beaches to lounge at there. There were certainly nicer, bigger, and more exciting accommodations available than this one. But they cost a lot more. I'm quite happy with the experience given the price. I'd recommend it for those trying to do Barbados on a budget.

Great place that’s not a far walk from the beach. Property manager (owner?) is super friendly and can help arrange pickup from airport too! Had a kitchen and all amenities needed for a comfortable and longer term stay. Would definitely recommend!

Good ground-floor apartment in a safe quiet area. Excellent beach a few minutes walk away, although not many restaurants within walking distance, but close to bus stops Shawn is an excellent host and gave us a good price for picking us up from the airport and taking us to the cruise terminal when we left.

Wonderful vacation at Believe Caribbean Apartment.

We had a wonderful vacation in Barbados and much of that was due to Shawn’s making sure we had what we needed. He also have wonderful tours of the island and was a wealth of information.

The apartment is charming and you get an authentic experience. The host is welcoming and friendly, and he is communicative. The property is just 3 minutes from the most beautiful beach. Great location. The neighborhood isn’t the best and the property only has AC in the bedroom, and it makes loud noises at night. It was hard to sleep. I would say that was the biggest downfall. Had a good stay otherwise!

Easy communication with the owner who talked us through the check in. The apartment is in the real Barbados surrounded with local residential properties. It’s a 15minute walk to the beach and local bars $50 taxi to the Airport. I wouldn’t recommend this apartment for long stays but a couple of overnight stops waiting for flights or cruise ships its ideal. If you want 5 star luxury this is not the place if you want to experience the real Barbados definitely spend a few nights here.

The host shawn was very pleasant and always returned my calls in a timely manner.The area is quiet and as a female by myself,I felt safe.Public transportation is nearby to go into the city and the bypass bus is neary by if you want to go to the North of the island.Or you want to go to oistins to experience local cuisine. The beach is nearby.

Would not stay again even if free.

Communication with the property owners/ managers was great and they were very friendly and helpful. That being said, a lot was lacking, despite the low price. There were only 2 towels and a bathroom floor towel. No washcloths or hand towels. I think they forgot to put a blanket on the bed? It was just a sheet and nowhere in the place was there another blanket and I had to sleep with my towel. It was very strange. The bed was one of the most uncomfortable beds I have ever slept on. At 36 I felt 86 with how my back and hips hurt. Don't forget to bring ear plugs for the roosters that congregate outside the patio in the morning. Very strange bathroom. You can barely wash your hands because the faucet is so far off in the corner. The toilet barely flushes and the mirror was apparently hung for people under 5'4 only. I did expect it not to be "perfect" at the super cheap price but I am perplexed by the high reviews left prior to my stay.
