For the first time after spending many years staying at this hotel. We were very disappointed with the room we stayed in and the quality of the bed. The room although spacious, the actual bathroom was very small and difficult to negotiate with the position of the bathroom door. The worst thing about the room was the bed. It was just a doubled with a matress which was felt as hard as stone. I suffer with back and hip problems and the 2nd night of our stay I had to take pain killers before bed in order to try to get a comfortable nights sleep. I did not. Both nights were the most uncomfortable sleep and a few days of unrest. We will definitely stay again but plan to test the bed and survey the bathroom before settling in.

The interesting thing about this hotel is that it is aesthetically beautiful inside but functionally it is horrible. The bathroom in particular was insane - a tiny piece of glass for a barrier between the shower and the rest of the bathroom and the shower head not properly affixed so the water sprays directly into the main space the entire time. The room was soaking wet. We feel quite bad for the cleaning crew. And they give us multiple towels but exactly one hook. Where am I to place my towel? On the soaking wet sink? The even worse floor? There’s no mini fridge which was a surprise. We wanted to use the stairs instead of the elevator and there were no lights in the stairwell which felt quite ominous. And the view out the window was nothing to recommend. But the location is handy enough. Luckily we were only there one night. Oh also I waited for an hour in line to check in which was not terribly fun. The lineup seemed that long much of the time we were there.

Good night away

Arrived at the hotel and drove around to find the carpark to no avail. Managed to stop outside the front with a few other cars who also needed directions to the parking. Eventually parked and made our way to the reception and booked in. Very busy desk, but had plenty of staff to cope. Room was lovely view was awful, but didn’t mind as we didn’t spend much time in the room. During the night it rained twice and woke us up due to the rain on metal was very noisy.

A nice clean room. Air con worked well against the high temperatures outside and in the corridors. There was a card in the room offering Free Water to members of the Hilton Club. We filled in the form but when we asked at reception they said they had run out of water. They still sold it as room service and at the bar, but not the complimentary water advertised. I bought some water from a nearby shop and requested a fridge for our room which the receptionist arranged promptly. We were staying two nights and after we had been out on our second day we found that our room had not been cleaned. I asked at rece

Highly recommended. Stayed with family (2 kids under ten) for 2 nights. Perfect location, right opposite the beach. Lots of restaurant options around. Hotel staff was polite. Reasonably good spread of breakfast. Clean rooms. Everything we wanted and expected. Will definitely recommend and stay again if we visit Brighton

The room we had was beautiful, I got exactly what i requested and booked, a suite with a balcony and sea view. They have really comfortable beds and linen, the only thing that let my experience down was the fact that there is no mini fridge in the room, and also if you are not a Hilton honors member you have to pay for the internet. Otherwise my experience was good, check in and check out was seamless. Location is right in the heart of Brighton, so much to see, eat and do, I would definitely recommend and I intend to return at some point.
