The Neighborhood:
This is a great family suburb. Close to everything and major infrastructure is about to commence including Metro rail and redevelopment of the Victoria Park Golf course into a great green space for the whole family. You are within walking distance of the city and the Valley if you chose or you can catch one of many buses that go past to both locations. It is a hilly suburb with great cooling breezes in summer. Local pubs, shops, restaurants are excellent with a massive choice. The local school has an excellent name and many links to the Uni which is also located in the suburb. There are a local golf course, hospital and uni on your doorsteps. You have easy access to all areas of Brisbane via the many new major roads and tunnels that make getting around easy. You have two major sporting grounds within walking distance, you have so many options for food and everyday shopping you are spoiled for choice. The urban village is great hosting a local Kelvin Grove Farmers market which is held every Saturday on the street next to the complex, but there is so much more to the suburb. It is a great little secret that is only 2 suburbs away from the CBD.

Great location to Brisbane and QUT. Some cute little restaurants around.Check in was tough as the pictures of parking area was outdated and the process wasn’t spelled out correctly.Communication was good before but not during the stay.Cleanliness was ok.Disappointed in the cooking pans. Very old and worn and limited.Overall very comfortable with the place.

Kelvin Grove

Layout of the property and the furnishings were very nice. Cleanliness left a bit to be desired especially the kitchen area. The stove was dirty and there were two knobs missing from the gas cook top. The lift was out of service for three of our ten day stay and this caused us stress and disruption to our holiday as our granddaughter was with us and had recently undergone knee surgery and was on crutches and in a full leg brace so it was very difficult for her to negotiate stairs to the fifth floor. This situation was unacceptable and I have requested compensation for those three days but to this point I have had no response. The main highlight was the location as it's very close to food outlets and the supermarket.

Stay at Kelvin Grove apartment

Overall, the apartment was well maintained. But, there are 2 things which were not good. (1) The aircon in the living room is not working. After running it for a few minutes, the aircon stops and the timer light started to blink. (2) Collection of the key is inconvenient as it is not located within walking distance of the apartment. You have to either drive or take a cab to another location to collect the keys to the apartment.

Great location and facilities but air con needs to be repaired.

This apartment was perfect for our stay, the only down side was that the air conditioning in the upstairs living area wasn't working and no effort was made to repair it despite repeated requests. The location is perfect with lots of restaurants, cafes and a supermarket all nearby.
