Great location in heart of city. About 20 minute walk from the Temple Mead train station. Staff could be a bit friendlier. Great vegan sausages for breakfast.

Brilliant location for everything we needed in Bristol. We had set dinner 3 courses for £25 and the breakfast for £12 (these were both emailed to us a couple days before our stay). The food was fantastic and such great value for money. This is our second stay here and we would stay again

No heating after midnight. Pressed every button and the heater kept saying "off". Didn't want to ring the reception - it was past midnight and just wanted to sleep. The point is that a 4 star hotel shouldn't have this kind of problem in the 1st place. We pay money so that we don't discover this kind of school boy problems after midnight!

Very clean and comfortable hotel. Easy check in experience using the kiosk and I was lucky enough to get a room upgrade. Beds were comfortable. They do have quite a narrow air conditioning temperature range - 19c to 23c which did struggle to heat the room on a very cold night that I arrived. Aside from that a very good hotel.

Not quite what we expected given the previous reviews. Reception wasn’t particularly welcoming. We were early and were simply told the room wasn’t available until 3 fullstop. Breakfast was chaotic. Too many people in a small space. So that was disappointing. More coffee machines away from the food area would have helped. Beds were comfortable and the bathroom was spotless and the rain shower was lovely. The first thing we saw on entering our room though was a stain on the carpet. The toiletries were minimal - no amenity kit or shower cap. I’m afraid I wouldn’t stay again or recommend.

Our room was comfortable, clean & quiet. The only staff we saw were on reception & they were friendly & helpful. It was convenient for the things we wanted to do.
