Nice clean, spacious room although my friend and her husband who I treated to a room for her birthday had a much smaller room even though it was the same rate. Great central location. Bar was good but the staff later in the night around 11ish refused to serve wine by the glass or cocktails…we were a party of 4 celebrating a special birthday and wanted to enjoy a few more drinks after a meal out. There were lots of other guests in the bar too - all we could get was beer! Very strange! Didn’t eat here as too many lovely restaurants and cafes for breakfast nearby. Overall comfortable stay but the bar should be manned properly on a Saturday night.

Our stay was excellent The room was clean and spacious. On our first night we took the three course meal offer for £25. The quality and value was excellent as well as the staff serving it. The reasoon I didnt give 5 stars was that the shower flow and pressure was poor. Ther viewout of the window was a dull public walkthrough with graffiti. As this was the middle winter and mostly dark then this didnt really matter but wasn't attractive.

The location was perfect in terms of town, you are right in the middle of the city centre and can easily commute around town. The venue itself is tucked away down a peaceful street. The breakfast was your traditional buffet but lots to choose from and helpful staff.

The room was clean and staff good. Was surprised that the cleaning staff had left the window open though, so it was very cold when I arrived and took a while for the room to warm up. Dinner was a little disappointing - stick toffee pudding was dry and tasted stale. Breakfast was amazing though and made up for the lousy dinner experience.

Room was very cold. The heating went up to 23 degrees but it was still cold. Buffet breakfast was ok. Nobody said we had to order the eggs. Eggs arrived when my breakfast was finished.

Hotel reception area and location were excellent . We had an executive king room which was very spacious but took a while to warm up in cold weather . Breakfast was a disappointment . Far Too small an area for breakfast considering the number of tables and people that were in there . Plates in the warmer were stone cold on both days and food was also cold . We even went in at 7.30 on the second day which was quieter but food still was cold

The room was great, and the staff very helpful. Breakfast was chaotic on each of the four mornings. Stuff ran out on each day - bacon, sausages, coffee and even forks and mugs. Egg ordering was random. Run this efficiently would be my suggestion to get five stars.
