Travelled with family
Feb 23, 2026
- one of the bedside lights needed a bulb,
- the kettle didn’t turn off automatically,
- I think you shouldn’t assume that, just because we haven’t booked an accessible room, that we are all fit and able enough to easily manage stairs,
- the bath was slippery and the notice about asking for a non-slip rubber mat was very small,
- the restaurant was on two levels, so if one needed to use the handrail on the steps when carrying food, double the number of trips to the buffet were required
- our room keys did not enable the lift from the floor below reception, we didn’t have the reception phone number handy, so we had to use the stairs to get the room keys re-enabled,
- although I definitely booked this trip with ‘breakfast included’, we were told both at reception and when going into the restaurant the following morning, that we had to pay for our breakfasts. This was eventually corrected, and we didn’t have to pay.
