I was a little hesitant about staying in a bunker, BUT it was completely fine for two nights. Itâs definitely not luxurious, but it is clean, an experience, and my private room was comfortable. While it feels like a basement, the room and bathroom was clean, and the sleeping bag and bed were actually very comfortable. It was perfect for a summer time stay as itâs a nice 65 degrees Fahrenheit all year round. If you are interested in history whatsoever, staying one or two nights is definitely worth it. Plus you get to tour the bunker for free. Thereâs even a free breakfast that was pretty decent!
Aside from the experience, the staff was amazing. They are dedicated to hiring folks of different backgrounds and teaching people about peace, totalitarianism, and history. And on top of that, they are extremely friendly! While not a five star hotel, the staff are deserving of working in one.
It was also super close to the city center and train station. I couldnât have asked for a better location.
