Beautiful Lakefront Log Cabin that will take your breath away.

Very peaceful log cabin that sits on 7 plus acres. Lots of activities such as fishing, roasting marsh mellows, volleyball, basketball, Bean bag Toss, board games, and fishing tournament for the family to do and a public boat dock 10 minutes away. If you want peace and quite, you can find several places for meditation. The space is endless.... Multiple seating and dining space both downstairs and in the loft. You can sit outside in the Gazebo with the firepit or out on the lawn with the firepit. Very large deck overlooking the lake. Sitting by the lake and the list goes on and on.....

SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN RENTED
This place was awful! Rented for 3N & 4D AC didn’t work upstairs, called mgr, no call back, called VRBO CS, mgr finally called, AC couldn’t be fixed she said she would call back but didn’t. Had to call CS again. Was going to have wives come to stay but couldn’t because we had to manage with 2 rooms & 4 men. No hot water or water pressure. Handle in kitchen sink held together with duct tape. Shower faucets falling off in your hand. Dirty bathroom rugs. Exposed electrical wires on back porch. The mgr only offered 1/2 off stay but didn’t include the cleaning fee or taxes etc. she didn’t even give half off the stay…a hundred short. I have talked to VRBO a few times but still no resolution. This place shouldn’t have been rented especially for the small fortune that didn’t match the value. The cleaning fee is a bad joke. I will not rent from VRBO again. They want pictures or it didn’t happen. They don’t stand behind customers. This is an ongoing problem from the looks of the other reviews I have read. Several had said the upstairs ac wasn’t working. Some got it fixed but we didn’t get so lucky.

Perfect for our needs
We made the best out of the heat and had a comfortable place to hang our hats for 4 nights. We rented a boat and were able to anchor it near the property and we loved being able to ride our personal UTV around the trails near the property. Ms. Evelyn was easily accessible via text and phone call when we had questions or needs throughout our stay. She was timely with requests and made sure we had what we needed.

Perfect VRBO for a lake stay
We stayed here for the THSBA Bass tournament. It was a great home and fit our needs wells. The host was very helpful. We would recommend this home for a lake getaway.

Plenty of room for parking boats
We had 4 trucks with boats and there was plenty of room for parking and enough outside outlets for charging batteries. We enjoyed the large back deck & fire pit, but I wish there was better lighting on the back deck. We had 8 people total and it didn't feel crowded inside at all.

Memorial Day Weekend
We booked, listing shows waterfront property. Texas is hot.. we came to spend it on the lake. Once checking in.. we walked out back though the grass was mowed around the cabin, it wasn’t by the bank about a foot out. Discovered that this wasn’t a swimming area. I feel like it needs to be disclosed prior to renting. We paid a mini Fortune for our 3 day holiday weekend. When asked about swimming, we were told to go to Powell park, about a 15 min drive.. they have it listed under house rules at the very bottom, this is after you book the property. Other then that the house is great..

Terrible Customer Service
We rented the cabin on short notice to evacuate for Hurricane Ida. Upon arrival, we found several items broken and the outside decks in disarray and in bad need of a cleaning. In addition, the upstairs AC was not working. We stayed for two days and communicated these issues to the property manager but nothing was resolved. I asked for a partial refund due to only having use of the downstairs but was ignored.

Labor Day Weekend 2021
We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend here! There were a few hiccups because of a storm that came through the night before and it knocked out the electricity! We had one night with the upstairs AC not working but it was fixed the next day. The outside solar lights didn’t work, so we really couldn’t enjoy the back porch at night. We also wish the the lake had easier access to get in the water. No beach so it’s very muddy. The house and property is peaceful and beautiful! Ms. Evelyn is wonderful to work with! We will definitely want to come back and stay again!
