This beautiful Brunswick acreage is completely remodeled and allows guests to enjoy all the beauty the Maine coastline offers! Nestled perfectly near downtown Brunswick, guests will enjoy having quick access to a plethora of restaurants, shops, parks, and Bowdoin College. Outdoor recreation is also abundant in this area. With kayaks available for use back at the farmhouse, guests can spend peaceful days on the water in Miller Cove.

Classic, refined, and charming, each corner and corridor of this retreat has been carefully curated to feel like home. Sitting and visiting with loved ones in the plush seating room will come naturally and cozy movie marathons can be enjoyed in the adjacent living room. The kitchen comes well-equipped for any culinary pursuits and meals can be indulged in family style at the wooden dining table.

Little Shortcomings

Overall the home was very comfortable and pleasant. We had more than enough room for every family member to spread out. The kitchen was clean and fresh, no odors and clean floors. Caveats: No air conditioner in 1st flr bedroom. The room also had a musty smell. No body wash in showers. Had to run out and get some. The ice maker did not produce ice and water dispenser was not dispensing water. There was a bit of a walk to get to shops. No Keurig.Positives: beds and pillows were comfortable. The pool table was a fun addition for entertainment. The TV in the living room large and was a big bonus for family movie time. The fact that there was a kitchen was a plus.

Maine home

It is a big house with 4 bedrooms and 2 full baths. It was very clean when we arrived It is about a half mile walk into Boothbay Harbor by way of the footbridge. There are many restaurants, and shops. You can go out on boat tours from the middle of the town. Our experience was very good and be enjoyed our stay

We had a great time. Location super convenient to downtown Boothbay Harbor and a nice park to walk our dog. We would definitely recommend this house to family and friends.

Mother’s Day in Boothbay

Mabel’s house was cute, clean and spacious. We enjoyed watching Boothbay open for the season, met a family of foxes in the neighborhood, and got got to take beautiful walks to Barrett Park and in town. Beds were very comfortable 😊

great location, everything you need

The home was very clean. very well stocked kitchen, did not need to use extra paper towels, toilet paper ,etc I brought along just in case. All utensils needed were present. Kitchen, bedrooms very well furnished and many nice recliners in family room to watch netflix on tv. Nightlights in bedrooms and bathrooms were a very thoughtful touch. Location couldn’t be better to walk across bridge to downtown or go to Barrett park with dog. Very quiet neighborhood, no traffic. Will definitely return if coming back to the area.

Maison confortable et spacieuse

La maison est trÚs bien située et permet de faire beaucoup de choses à pied. Le quartier est trÚs calme et la verdure autour de la maison apporte une intimité appréciable. Le descriptif et les photos reflÚtent bien la taille et la fonctionnalité des piÚces. Tous les équipements nécessaires pour passer plusieurs jours sont pourvus et en bon état. En résumé: maison trÚs agréable et lumineuse. Nous avions fait le Clambake avec le Bennie Alice vers Cabbage Island: aprÚs-midi inoubliable !

Great stay in Boothbay

We really enjoyed our stay in Mabel's Cottage. The house was immaculate and had numerous thoughtful touches throughout. Beds and furniture were comfortable and in very good condition. Kitchen was well equipped and deck was in good shape, although a few of the deck chairs were starting to wear thin. The neighborhood was very nice and an easy walk into town or to Barrett Park if you don't mind a few hills. A lovely couple who we made instant friends with live across the street and gave us tips for local places to visit (Ocean Point!). We would definitely stay here again on a future visit to BBH.

8 harbor heights

Could use anti slip pads for the deck steps when it rains. Lights in living room and up stairs bedroom need to be looked at. Lights keep flickering on and off at night. Bigger trash can for multiple people stay there. Other than that. Love the house and location. Would recommend to friends and family.

Wonderful Stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Mabel's Maine Cottage! The place was so sweet - clean, new, private, and a very relaxing setting. Absolutely no complaints whatsoever. The house is a 5 minute walk to a beautiful park in one direction and the town of Boothbay Harbor in the other. There's a working lobster wharf pretty much at the end of the street (Atlantic Edge), and they'll even steam them for you if you call in advance. Would totally recommend it and we hope to come back again during the "high season". Thanks so much for a wonderful week!
