Our room was small, dark and cramped. The “continental breakfast”was 1 bun and 1 croissant with coffee and OJ. Best part was the hotel location- very close to the main square.

The benefit of this hotel is the amazing location, just a few minutes from the Grand Place and most other sites. The hotel interior is eccentric to say the least and the rooms very tiny and dated but it was all very cleaned and rooms were serviced every day. However, the outside noise was awful. The windows do not soundproof and so we could actually hear the words people were speaking in the cafe below. On the Saturday the street noise went on till 5am. We had to buy ear plugs and didn't sleep well.

The decor is unusual but very charming, with something different wherever you go. The hotel is ideally located near La Grand Place. The room was basic but clean, with a comfortable bed. The owner, manager and staff were all so plaisant, kind and helpful. This was my second stay and i will return again.

The hotel charged my credit card twice for a one-night stay. My credit card company alerted me immediately. When I asked one day later to refund the overcharge amount to the same card, I was told that the hotel could not issue refunds after 24 hours. The hotel indicated it could only issue a refund to my bank account, asking for the account number. I did not feel comfortable providing such personal financial information. I would suggest if you stay here, pay via third-party travel company before hand and not to use pay at the property option.

This is a super quirky property at the edge of the Grand-Place (about two minutes walk). It's layout is entertaining in itself and there is something to observe in every corner. The rooms are not luxurious - but you're not paying luxury prices. The breakfast was a bit basic and I didn't love the bread, but my dad did!

They charge you for everything, even for holding your bags after check out for going out for lunch. Staff not very friendly, they will try to get money out of you at any chance.
