You won't find a better value in the Cherokee / Bryson City area! Add to that the perfectly central location, just 5 miles either to Cherokee or to Bryson City, and this is the perfect base camp for your Smoky Mountains Carolina Mountains vacation. note: the listing map marker has had some issues. This property is near Whittier and is about midway between Cherokee and Bryson City NC.

Free Admissions to several area attractions are provided for every day of your stay! This is arranged by Watershed Cabins through their program called Xplorie! Every single day of your stay, including both the arrival day AND the departure day, you get 1 free admission to each of the attractions offerred. Biltmore Estate, Great Smoky Mountains Railroad, Wildwater Jeep Tours or whitewater rafting, brewery tours, and more... with new attractions being added all the time (all are subject to seasonality, availability, and program changes).

You'll love the cozy feel of this very adorable mountain home. For that mountain get-away experience with the convenience of being close to all recreational areas, this is the place for you.

The cabin has a bedroom and full bath on the main floor and an upstairs loft area with a 7' slate pool table, futon, and another full bath. King bed in master, full sized futon in loft area. Enjoy the gas-log fireplace inside or sit on the beautiful covered porch with full dining table, Adirondack chairs, and wood-burning fireplace just steps down to the hot tub area. There's as grill on the porch, too, and of course the propane and firewood are provided.

The location is very convenient directly between Bryson City and Cherokee; it's just 12 minutes to either. **note that despite my best efforts, VRBO continues to show an incorrect map marker location! This property is NOT located near Almond NC just off highway 26. Rather, it is just off hwy 19 (aka Ela Rd) between Bryson City and Cherokee (more detailed maps label this as "Ela" and is just off Ocona Rd on Riverside Dr.

This cabin is so lovely! The bedding was cozy to sleep in and the fireplace on the back porch was Heaven. I absolutely loved that space! The only problem we had was trying to get the Roku remote to work that outside TV and eventually we gave up on it and just cast our phones to the tv instead which worked fine. That was such a tiny little thing, I didn’t bother to tell Watershed about it. The location is perfect! Centrally located to Bryson City, Cherokee, and Fontana Lake. We will definitely book here again!

The cabin itself is second to none.The communication with the property manager was outstanding. The only negative things that we had to say, the living room furniture is showing it's birthdays and the main road getting to the property, is a little rough. If you have a low riding car, you might have issues. Other than that is was OUTSTANDING.

Quick Vaca

All in all the cabin was a decent place to stay. Unfortunately we spent most of the time at the cabin inside, as the hot tub water was slimy and the big feature we were looking forward to, the outdoor fireplace, was a non starter. There was wood upon our arrival, but not enough to have a decent fire, so the they had to deliver some. Ended up the wood in the fireplace and the delivered wood was all damp/wet, so couldn’t get a fire rolling to sit outside. The inside was decent, couch was comfortable, but didn’t plan to stay inside the whole trip. The gas fireplace inside was nice and kept things warm.

Wonderful cabin to stay in!

Clean, cozy, affordable log cabin in a great location close to Cherokee, Bryson City and white water rafting. Perfect for couples looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway. Property management was very helpful and accommodating of all needs. Would recommend and hope to come back soon.

Relaxing Christmas Getaway

My wife and I decided to find a place to stay over the holidays with our two dogs. Cherokee Charm was the perfect size for us. We found trails to hike during the day and relax in the hot tub after. The sounds of the river flowing below the mountain, fire crackling, and wind blowing through the trees made it very peaceful. We miss it already. There are houses nearby and not a great view from the cabin but there are many places to explore during the day. We found a dog friendly restaurant/bar in Bryson City with great food and staff. We will recommend this stay and plan to save it for the future.
