I was so excited to stay at Mount Princeton Resort until I experienced one of the worst resort experiences I’ve ever been through. The room was gross, and poorly cleaned. The vents looked like they had enough mold in them for a decade. After trying to go to the bathroom, realized the toilet was not even working. Called the front desk. Waited for an hour for a maintenance person to show. Finally came and the toilet still wasn’t fixed when we tried to use it (after the “fix”. Called front desk again, and they offered another room in the boonies away from walking distance to amenities and said it was “an upgrade”. After I stated I only wanted to stay in the area I was in, they offered me a cabin but with a $100 charge. The manager then hung up on me when I told him he wasn’t listening to what I needed. I ended up leaving the resort and had to demand that my credit card not be charged a cent. (Since we didn’t even stay in the room more than 4 hours—but they insisted on charging me a “cleaning room fee”. Ironic. Don’t stay at the resort. It is over priced and poorly maintained.

The one thing we really wanted to do was enjoy the natural hot springs but unfortunately it was closed and only the pools were open. It's just not the same. Dining is expensive and the other market store closes way too early at 8. It's just very run down overall. Not terrible, it can be fun for some people, it just wasn't my scene. Spa was really nice.

Our unit was upgraded at no charge, very nice. The pools are all great. If you're going to be in the area, this is a good choice for overnight, or they have day passes too. Separate areas for kids which is nice if you don't have them in tow anymore :)

Love these pools and hot springs. so well maintained. Trish held great stretch and pilates classes in the pool. Bit more shade around the pools might be nice, there is very little shade around.

The room we got did not look like the picture you advertized we had no table to eat on. The bed was not good. The room was not cleaned very well. Outside of that it was good. Little pricey on the room.

Beautiful property creekside with a balcony overlooking a creek. The sound and view is relaxing. Room is huge. Staff was friendly and helpful. The resort is beautiful. I will visit again hopefully annually.

This place is a must visit. We loved the stay! Their restaurant is great as well. If you go when the river waters are high, then the pools on the river will not be available.
