Great All Round Option - especially the breakfast!
Location:
Great location for the downtown sights, 2 blocks from the metro, about 5 from Retiro train station, in between recoleta and Puerto Madero.
Room:
Clean, and equipped to the usual standard with TV and cable, mini-bar, but no kettle with tea/coffee making facilities. Our room had a close up view of the side wall of the next building, but at least we had complete privacy with curtains open. Aircon present though control of it didn't seem so responsive but it was more than adequate. Bathroom was clean and bright not lacking anything. Good strong hot shower and even whirlpool bath.
Beds: whilst promoted as Queen beds so we can have no complaints, the width is simply too narrow to sleep 2 adults. We had 2 kids with us and ended up mixing beds, but to little benefit. Ultimately we didn't sleep well at all during our 6 night stay. That of course depends on what you're used to re sleeping arrangements and I can't criticise the hotel for this given the details we were provided prior to booking.
They could provide more hangars.... 8 between 4 isn't very much.... there's little reason not too, even if it's the cheap types.
Service:
Very pleasant, amiable and no issues.
Pool:
Dated and grubbier than the photos. It's OK for the kids, but it's not a pleasant modern experience.
Breakfast:
THE reason for staying in this hotel. Good hearty breakfasts with cereals, meats, fruits, pastries, and eggs bacon sausages and potatoes to boot!
