The staff and service at this hotel were amazing. The staff was very professional and friendly, more importantly, they were very attentive when we called. My only pet peeve was the air conditioning, although it seems you control it in the room, you really don't. We called a few times due to the lack of a/c to find out that they actually control it from the reception area at the lobby. Also, you had to run the hot water for about 3 minutes for it to kick-in - quite a waste of water and time.

48 hours in BA around Christmas

The staff were all very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Couldn’t ask for anything more. Location is great for being central and walkable to most parts of Palermo and adjacent neighborhoods. It was fairly quiet the day before Christmas Eve but I imagine is a bit more lively on usual weekends. The room was very spacious, clean, and modern. The bed was fairly comfortable. Breakfast was simple, but totally fine. And the pool was nice for a quick dip and some sun in the middle of the city.

Exceptional service

Loved this hotel. Staff went above and beyond. The stored our bags for a few days, and had them waiting in our room on arrival. Also had pre-packed us a takeaway breakfast as we had to leave early in the morning. Nice rooms and room service.

The people at the front desk were AWESOME! Extremely helpful, before we even got out of the cab someone was there to grab our bags and welcome us! Extremely clean and modern hotel with super comfy bed. Breakfast was fabulously delicious and expansive. Lots of restaurants and things to see within 5-20 minute walk in multiple directions from hotel. Super easy to get cabs any time day/night. Love this hotel and everyone that works there. Couldn’t recommend more!

We had great time at Ilum, they have best staff ever for any hotel. Everyone is super helpful and they give all good recommendations and arrange anything you ask for. The area is super happening and lots and lots of food options. Breakfast is good too. We loved our stay and would stay here again in future.

I stayed at Ilum for 9 nights early September - the hotel is great the room is spacious and clean the breakfast is a lot of options and the entire staff could not have been nicer. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants within walking distance from the hotel all are great.
