Did not end up staying, the price was very good but a funky smell combined with staines on the sheets and mould in the seal of the fridge we repacked the car after 20 mins and left. Returned the key on day two to let management know but could not find anyone left key in the after hrs box. We had booked a 3 night stay. Good price, older motel needs a makeover, i would not recommend.

The staff at at Alexandria were outstanding. The motel was a bit tired and could do with an upgrade but the staff made our stay a wonderful experience. Close to everything we could want and a short drive to many of Bundabergs attractions, we would definately stay here again.

It was quiet and close to everything in town. Sadly, it is also old and tired as a building. The taps in the shower and basin drip constantly, the mattress is past its use-by date and hard. It was cheaper than others and I guess that is why.

OMG, what!

While cost was okay, you get what you pay for. Paint peeling, toilet seat broken, stained furnishings, poor replaster, overall just dated and old. We were not short of entertainment, the couple in the room next to us virtually left nothing to the imagination as to what type of spa they were enjoying. To say the least we did not use the spa in our room, yuck! At one time it looks like it would have been quite a nice place, do not be fooled by the photos and reviews. Would never recommend or stay again.
