The Space:
Blue Gum at Aranya Acres by Tiny Away sits near a small town called Bungendore, Southern Harvest Region. Close to Le Tres Bon, The Carrington, Lark Hill Winery, Contentious Character, and Bungendore Woodworks are just a few of the attractions in the area.
The ideal farm stay is set on an idyllic spot on the bank of our main creek, surrounded by wonderful natives and lush greens, with easy access to the outside world with minimal visibility. We are home to a plethora of animals such as chickens, sheep, alpacas, wild kangaroos, wild deer & peacocks!
A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities (e.g., an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste-holding tank, hand basin, and gas-heated shower).
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you're booking for a group, we also have a second tiny home, "Red Gum," available with 24 hours' notice in advance. As an added note, the tiny house is approximately. 150 meters away from the main house and not visible from each other.
Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny home and its surrounding areas. Please do not enter animal paddocks or yards without the land host's permission
Guests, however, will have restricted access to the land host's private residence. If you require assistance, please contact your host via text or call to respect the host's privacy.

Blue Gum at Aranya Acres by Tiny Away is just 8 minutes from the small town in Bungendore at the centre of the Southern Harvest Region. Halfway between Canberra and Bateman's Bay, which is an hour away, and historic Braidwood township, which is only 37 minutes away.

Bungendore and its surroundings offer a mix of history, culture, and fine dining. The Australian War Memorial stands as a national landmark honoring the countryâs armed forces. In town, The George Bar & Dining provides fine food in a warm, historic setting, while Le Tres Bon is known for its traditional French cuisine and elegant dining experience.
The Bungendore Woodworks Gallery showcases exceptional wood art, sculpture, and fine furniture created by leading Australian designers. Local wineries such as Lark Hill, Contentious Character, and Sapling Yard invite visitors to enjoy tastings and relaxed lunches among the vines.
Getting Around:
By car:
- 10 minutes from Bungendore
- 30 minutes from airport and 40 minutes from parliament
By public transport:
- Taxi is available from town to our property 10 minutes away.
- There is a bus and a train that can take you to Bungendore Town from Canberra. Large train station with many rural stop going from central (Sydney) to Canberra.
Other Things to Note:
- No smoking allowed on the property
- Outdoor fire pit is available. Please bring your own firewood if you want to use it.
- Telstra, Optus, & Vodafone have good signal
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- We have a flock of sheep to mow the lawn in the paddock, naturally
- We also have a studio near the tennis court. For more details, please ask the host
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge.
- Only 1 one pet is allowed. Additional pets may incur a fee. This is a pet-friendly propertyâfull pet policies will be sent before arrival.
- If you are bringing any animals, please notify us of the animal type. Please be aware of our free-roaming livestock and wild animals on the property. We request that your animals be kept leashed at all times when outside for their safety.
Guest Advisory
- Remember to shut the gates before entering and leaving the paddocks
- Given the rural setting, children and pets are welcome under CLOSE ADULT SUPERVISION. Please exercise caution in bushland areas and waterways.
Important note:
- Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the cassette toilets and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
