I travel a lot and have never left a negative review. Front desk staff very young rude and slow, on her cell phone and made me wait until she was finished. The hotel itself is dated, dirty and the walls are paper thin and you can hear the occupants of the room next to you and above. The pool area is filthy. Unreal how poorly maintained this hotel is.

I've been to Fairmont many times and I appreciate that they are doing their best to make upgrades. The room is fine, staff mostly fine. The food, especially what they are calling "fine dining" is a joke. Crab cakes that look and taste like they came out of the grocery store freezer section. Salad that is that cheap choped bag stuff. Pork chop so thin you could see through it. And what is with closing the pools at 10pm what am I, a child that has a cerfew. Most hot springs I have visited its at least 11.

I really didn't enjoy my stay. The deadbolt on my room didn't work and they had no way to repair it or to refund me. I ordered room service. My food came cold and undercooked. When I went to the restaurant in the morning, the wait staff was rude and forgot about me. Would never stay here again.

The front desk person looked like she would rather be anywhere but sitting at that front desk eating her chips. She couldn’t find our reservation, even with a copy of our Expedia reservation. She had to bring in a coworker to help and several minutes later they were able to locate it.

There was an excellent young staff member on duty at the pool. She was great with the kids! The indoor and outdoor pools were awesome. The hot tubs were great too! So nice to play outside in November. We’d love to come back and enjoy the frisbee golf course and try the hiking trails in the area.

When we tried to checkin at 3:30, an older lady with a huge attitude told us no and we had to wait. Then we overheard that the hotel was very low on guests so we got back in line and a nicer person checked us in immediately. Our room had a massive gap in the door frame so anyone could enter by sliding a credit card in the lock area. So we had to keep our valuables in the car. Restaurants were good. Aside from bad attitude lady everyone else was nice.

The front desk staff ranged from very informative and friendly, to cold and curt. The rooms were clean and well kept. Would have been nice to have been notified there was no AC in the rooms though, tried to turn down the thermostat and instead it blew hot air anyhow making sleep rather uncomfortable. Pools were nice and the outdoor bar was a plus. Dining at the Waters Edge was quite the disappointment and the management didn't seem to care. Overall a nice stay, but there are much better dining options in town.
