Tiny bugs everywhere & Terrible host communication
My stay was awful.
-There were tiny bugs/ants on the bed and on the kitchen counter.
-The elements on the stove were not working. A portable electric element was placed there as a replacement. I was not notified about this issue and the VRBO pics did not show this.
-The oven is so close to the side cupboards that the oven door could not open because the cupboard/drawer knob prevented it from opening.
-Rusty soap dish, clogged shower head and a toilet that wonât stop running.
-There is a big, dirty, old planter full of old dirt with no plant in it in the living room?? More bugs??
This place needs to be gutted and renovated. Just yuck.

***In regards to Peter, the hostâŠdonât expect any quick responses. For 2 months, I made numerous requests via the VRBO app and directly to the host (voice messages, inbox messages) to extend my stay for one extra day. I received no response until a few days before my arrival. Naturally, I had to book elsewhere for the extra day. I lost the deposit on that other place and Peter (host) only offered a $19 discount for the extra night and my troubles. Pathetic.
Avoid this rental at all costs. Unless you are into dirty, bug infested, run-down, unkept 70âsâs look.
