Caddo River Crossing - The Barn Cabin - Has access to the Caddo River

Nestled among the pine and hardwoods and located on river front property (cannot see the river from the cabin), the cabin is an excellent way to just relax and enjoy life on the Caddo River.

The cabin comes complete with oven and 4 burner stove, full sized fridge, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, complimentary in room coffee, TV (no cable/sat), DVD only player (there is a shared selection of DVDs, recommend you bring your own if you wish to watch TV), screened in upper deck,2 bedrooms, 3 queen beds, two bathrooms (1 with tub/shower and 1 with shower), fire ring, charcoal grill. There is limited Wi-Fi available on the property if it is needed.

With your rental, you will have full access of the property and can relax next to the river among the many trees and take in the wonderful and peaceful sounds of nature. Arrowhead Canoe rental is located just across the road for those of you who wish to canoe without the hassle of even starting the car!

We are located approximately 45 minutes from Hot Springs National Park, 45 minutes from Wolf Pen ATV park, 45 minutes to an hour from Camp Albert Pike and Little Missouri Falls, 45 minutes to crystal mines or diamond mines, 45 minutes from Magic Springs, Wild River Country, Oaklawn racing and Oaklawn casino, 10 minutes from Glenwood Country Club and golf course, 1 minute from Arrowhead Canoe rental, and about 2 seconds from relax and enjoy.

Bar-B-Que grills are provided, but you will need to bring your own charcoal and delicious steak, ribs, burgers, or whatever you wish to grill.

The Caddo River is known for its outstanding natural beauty, serene canoe rides and great fishing.... brownies, large-mouth bass, and perch are plentiful as it is very seldom fished if you like to wade fish.

This cabin was great!!!!! The whole family gad a blast. From the great fishing steps away to the relaxing hot tub after Crystal mining all day. I highly recommend this spot. We will definitely be back for many many years to come!!

I would have been even greater, however my husband and I had to leave the night we arrived because my momma was taken to the hospital! My cousin and her family stayed and of course said everything was wonderful! I’m sad we had to miss the fun, but my momma comes before anything else! We love the cabin and the host are awesome! Short getaway

We came to Arkansas for a mother daughter trip and we had the best time. We came to canoe but the water level was to high to safely float especially with children. Marc told us about a hiking trail called little missouri falls and it was well worth the 40 min drive. We hiked and we got to swim at the waterfall. We loved it, you will need a truck or suv to manage the terrain into the trail. We also spent time in hot springs which is about a 45 min drive.

The Perfect Spot

10 stars!

I hate to tell the interwebs how wonderful this place and its hosts are! It might make us getting a reservation date harder in the future, LOL! But I will take Marc, the host's, "spirit of sharing" and tell you... Book it! All the other reviews are on point about the cleanliness and having everything one could need on hand for their guests. If the hosts haven't it already ready for you as a guest, they will fulfill requests instantly, if possible. Having spent a lifetime in the area, there is no question they cannot answer. As a mobility-challenged person, it really helped to have a queen bedoom & bath downstairs for hubs and I. Our married friends and their sister took the 2 upstairs queen beds and shared that bath. And after a day of hiking and rock-hounding and exploring the flea market, that hot tub was the bomb.com! Our cell service was poor, and I know if the hosts could've improved even That, they would've! But the wifi was strong enough for 5 devices at all times. There is no cable or even OTA channels that reach. But DVDS are available. We didn't even watch the ones we brought We instead enjoyed "caveman TV" gazing into the roaring fire pit outside! When the rains began, we simply enjoyed our coffee and adult beverages depending on the hour on BOTH of the covered porches! We forgot to bring chairs, but of course you already know the Albreichts had many, many at the ready in the closet! Well I COULD go on, but I will just, lastly say, Go See For Yourself!

Great River cabin!

Wonderful property and the host was awesome! Was only planning to use this as a stopover on a road trip but it ended up being one of the best parts of the entire trip. Great river access and much needed quiet after Dollywood! We will be back with the rest of the family someday.
