Our host, Vittore, greeted us upon arrival and gave us a thorough walk through and provided plenty of recommendations of the sites and restaurants. We really enjoyed staying here and would stay again in a heart beat.

Casa de la Consul is a beautiful property, well designed and considered by Eric and Vittore who are both on hand to welcome you, offer a wide range of suggestions for this to do and places to eat (not just on arrival, throughout your stay), and give a tour of the property including your apartment. Each apartment is very well appointed, the modern decor blends seamlessly with the aged elements. Lighting, and colour schemes are beautiful. The consideration of detail is second to none; I’ve never stayed at another hotel or apartment where the hairdryer had a diffuser! I know little things that please me. The terrace and pool were wonderful places to go and relax after long days of sightseeing and walking. The property is situated is a perfect location for exploring Cadiz and we were made to feel like it was home. I would wholly recommend this boutique hotel to anyone visiting Cadiz.

Room was large and gorgeous . Roof terrace was my favourite place to hang out .Easy to walk around the old town from here with plenty of helpful suggestions from Vittore (the host) . Bed was huge and very comfortable . Would highly recommend
