Entering the hotel lobby, you feel old Cairo and you could see who stayed there in the 60’s and 70’s. If you want to really experience Cairo you have to stay downtown Cairo and at the old hotels. The hospitality of the staff may not be 5star, but it is certainly genuine.

True flavor of downtown Cairo!

This was downtown Cairo. The hotel actually started on the 6th floor. Elevator and entrance needed a good cleaning to say the least. The room was spotlessly clean however! Bed comfortable. Bathroom spoteless EXCEPT floor drain oozed what appeared to be clean water keeping floor wet...no bathmat or any way to sop up water and managment no help either. Enjoyed the downtown experience.

Excellent hospitality and friendly staff. Highly recommended if you are looking for a decent hotel in the center of cairo specially within a historical square, Talaat Harb, with very good prices.

The hotel looked nothing like the pictures. The entrance and the elevators are bad. The staff is very friendly and helpful but the location and the rooms are cheap.

Amazing stay in Cairo

Very good rate quality/price. Excelent location, close to Tahrir square. Egyptian museum . Very safe area. Very friendly and helpful staff, especially Hussein that offered lot of information about Egypt and sightseeing tours. I booked all tours with the hotel and it was really amazing (good service & tours). Breakfast was nice , room was clean and spacious with lovely view to talat harb square , very good internet wifi connection I highly recommend the hotel thanks

No lo recomiendo

La habitación no se correspondía con la contratada, la ventana no cerraba bien y se oían los coches como que estuvieran en la habitación, nos dieron 2 toallas solo una de manos y otra de ducha, el wifi no funciona en las habitaciones, vamos que no lo recomendaría.
