The house has been renovated to a more modern look and is fully furnished in a modern-day homage to the early 1900’s. Located on the main street level adjacent of the historic J. Nevler building in Ramsay and was constructed in 1915. Jeremiah Nevler (the original owner), a Russian Jewish immigrant who lived in Calgary with his family. Nevler operated a grocery store in Bridgeland / Riverside before relocating his home and business to this address. He evidently left the City around 1923-24, and sold the building around 1928. Today it is named Hardware Block as it once held a hardware storefront but has been converted to living space.

The two bedrooms are very comfortable with a warm cozy duvet, a memory foam queen bed mattress, high end bedding and pillow options for your comfort. There is a privacy curtains. For additional comfort we have a portable AC unit available in the summer on request and a small heater in the winter.
The kitchen is well stocked with everything you could possibly need to cook an amazing meal. The kitchen also comes with a choice of coffee and tea.
The bathroom also comes with everything you would need and more! Did you forget to pack something? We have you covered with a care bag which includes toothpaste, lotions, shampoo, conditioners, body wash, feminine hygiene products etc.
The living room features a sofa bed that folds out into a twin sized bed that is suitable for smaller adults or for kids.
The home has a laundry center within, located in the Kitchen.
Let us know if you are travelling with an infant or small children. upon request we can accommodate with a pack and play that is safe for overnight sleeping.
