Everything was great...except for the bed!

We have stayed at this property many times and it has always been wonderful. This time, I was very disappointed with the bed. It was saggy, noisy, mushy, old and very uncomfortable. The right and left side were so old, there was a long hump in the middle of the bed. The pillows were terrible too. Being a repeat customer, I was very annoyed they gave me such a horrible room. Actually, no one should have to pay money to sleep in such a horrible bed. Do better!

We stay at this hotel each Thanksgiving and have grown quite fond of this facility. The housekeeping staff, front desk attendants, and whomever that sweet lady is that manages the breakfast are all wonderful. My only critique is that the pool is not well managed. Last year we noticed that it was going downhill, but this past stay it was filled with hair and it was clear that either the pool filter was not working, or they don't regularly clean the pool. I should have known it was not in good shape when the spa was closed! We told the management about it and they promised to respond. We will see how things look next Thanksgiving. Otherwise, the hotel room is excellent, always well cleaned and a nice place to stay and relax!

The staff cleaned our room and threw away my husband's ostomy supplies, socks and water we had in the refridgerator. We returned to the room on our second night to discover that they did a check out clean. The front desk said they would refund one night's stay. That never happened. I always have referred this hotel to friends and family in the past. Not anymore.

I would have given 5-stars easy if it wasn’t for the fact that the mattresses on the beds are rock hard. I prefer firm mattresses but these are flat out HARD! They moved us from a King size bed to a Queen size bed and even added a mattress pad but it was still too hard. We stayed three nights and each morning, I really suffered from the hard mattress. But honestly, everything else was superb… especially the staff!
