The positives, breakfast, cleaning & catering staff, location. The negatives. Well as I've stayed here before I mentioned months ago that the treadmill in the gym needs servicing as its dangerous. Then on my last visit only a month ago I mentioned this again - its still not serviced & repaired. It's an accident waiting to happen. It should be taken out of service. Unfortunately we stayed for New Years eve - a big mistake. A bar just down the road had very very loud music playing until 4am. It was impossible to sleep. We asked reception if they could request the music was turned down - but the member of staff said he couldn't do that and it happens every year at this bar. All in all this really spoilt our stay. What a shame.

Stayed for a 2 week cycling vacation and the location was perfect. The hotel was more than we could ask for. Very clean and well cared for. The breakfast was amazing. Would definitely stay again.

I have lost count of the times I have stayed at Hotel Porto. Its cleanliness is outstanding, its location is perfect & it certainly is value for money. Its the first time my room didn't have a view but it was spacious, had excellent lighting, a fridge & air conditioning. Kevin was kind enough to arrange to have a kettle with disposable cups & a few teabags upon request & I bought fruit, milk & Nescafe to have early mornings. The only disappointment was that theTV only had Channels in Spanish & I used to be snle to find an English channel previously. I watch the news travel programmes and documetaries occasionally, but there was nothing available with subtitles on any of the many Spanish channels avaliable. The restaurant adjoining the hotel gave 10% The service was .

Really lovely little hotel. Simple rooms with everything you need, the whole property is spotlessly clean, friendly and helpful staff. Great location for the beach and the town. Try and get a room with a balcony overlooking the port. Highly recommended.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The cleaner on our floor was so efficient and always had a friendly comment to make. Room was clean, everything you needed was there except perhaps for tea/coffee making facilities. Breakfast was good value and was of decent quality. We used the cafe next door a few times, fine for coffees and snacks but the meals weren't wonderful. Would recommend the hotel as we felt it was good value.

The staff were helpful and the room was nice but i did not have a balcony with see view as displayed on the website. Everything else was all good. But when i wanted to order a taxi it was not good. Had to wait 2hours. They should provide a better taxi service.

Nice hotel really well located, just a few steps from restaurants and beaches :) the room was very clean and comfortable, nice view over the port. Staff was nice and welcomed. The breakfast was tasty with loads of options, better than some 4/5 star.. I will come back

Lovely hotel

We’ve been to this hotel before so we knew it was good, However we had a sea view last time & i had booked a room with side sea view this time because that was all that was available, I didn’t realise that we wouldn’t have a balcony at all so we were disappointed about that ☹️
