Il Castagno Country House Versilia, villa with private pool and air conditioning

Elegant villa with swimming pool (8.20 m x 3.80 m, deep 1,50 m) converted from a typical Tuscan farmhouse, recently restored, situated in the green hills of Versilia, just 13 km away from the sea and the main tourist centers of the area. Surrounded by a large garden and a beautiful wood of chestnut and acacia trees, spread over an area of 250 square meters on two levels.

Ground floor there is a lounge with fireplace and dining area, a living room-studio, a large fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, electric oven, microwave, fridge, freezer and fireplace. On the same floor there is a bathroom with tub and laundry area with washing machine. On the ground floor there is also an independent bedroom with French windows onto the garden: the room is very spacious and has one double-bed and a single bed, en suite bathroom with shower, AC too.

First floor: three bedrooms with double beds, 2 bathrooms with shower. Outdoor patio with dining area equipped with wood-burning oven and barbecue. The villa offers peace and privacy to guests, it is tastefully furnished and has free wi-fi, air conditioning, heating , alarm system, automated gate.

Prices include water and electricity consumptions, gas and wood for the fireplace.On request: daily cleaning, babysitting service, transfers from the station or from the airports of Pisa and Florence, rental cars, motorbikes and bicycles, tickets for the main museums in Tuscany. Parking is inside the property.

We had such a wonderful stay here! Beautiful and idyllic setting, perfect for our honeymoon in Tuscany. We loved how private it felt and totally secluded, which was the main reason we booked for our dog to be safe in the grounds too. Brilliant facilities throughout and clear communication from the host- thank you so much!

Amazing Place in Camaiore

We had a great two-week vacation at Il Castagno. The house was one of the best-equipped vacation rentals and exactly as advertised. There is plenty of space, a great outdoor living area, a private yard and a pool. Raffaele provided superior support -- meeting us at the villa, being available to answer questions about the region and seamlessly managing our departure. We'd book again.

Villa met Italiaans karakter!

Een heerlijk onderkomen boven in de berg. Na een mooi slingerpad omhoog gaat het hek open om naar de villa af te zakken. Een heerlijk huis met meerdere slaap en badkamers. Vooral veel genoten onder de overkapping en het zwembad!

Wonderful property

We very much enjoyed our stay in Il Castagno. The garden was especially spacious and well kept and provided ultimate privacy. The pool was lovely as was the large veranda alongside the kitchen. We tried the pizza oven successfully and also made fresh pasta in the well equipped kitchen. The owner was very friendly and we think the property is even nicer than the pictures. To benefit from the good weather, we hired sun beds in Lido di Camaiore and did day trips to Lucca and Pisa.

A relaxing space - tranquil and private but near to a lovely village

We booked an adult family of 7 stay for a week and the property gave us all the privacy and space needed for all the adults along with a great outdoor space for a social evening - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the small village down the hill with the restaurants and shops along with the weekly market was a lovely way to spend a morning or evening - not far from a lucca 40 min drive and 15 min from the beaches a superb bolt hole - we will all treasure the many days and evenings of laughter The villa is very well equipped and both Mr Franco and Chiara were so helpful if we needed anything ( but it’s all there !) Thank you and see you again soon xxxx

Tolles, sehr gut ausgestattetes Landhaus

Das Haus ist wie auf den Bildern dargestellt, es ist sehr sauber und ausgezeichnet ausgestattet. Es fehlt an nichts, sogar Handtücher und Auflagen für die Liegen am Schwimmbad waren vorhanden. Der Grill und der Pizzaofen sind super, Holz war ausreichend vorhanden. Zum Einkaufen sind wir immer nach Camaiore Lido (ca. 20 min) gefahren, wobei es in Camaiore auch kleine Geschäfte gibt. Der Besitzer, Herr Franco ist sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Für uns war es ein gelungener Urlaub in einem tollen Haus.

Heerlijke plek voor relaxte vakantie

Wat een heerlijke plekje midden in de Toscaanse natuur en voorzien van alle gemakken. Met 3 slaapkamers en twee badkamers op de eerste verdieping en tevens nog een slaapkamer en badkamer op de begane grond is er ruimschoots plaats. Het geheel wordt afgemaakt met een grote woonkamer en grote keuken. De woning was keurig schoon. Onze jonge kinderen hebben genoten van het zwembad alsmede de tafeltennis tafel. Het strand is op 13km. Bezoek: - Florence ongeveer 1,5 uur - Lucca 35 - 45 minuten - Pisa 35 - 45 minuten - Lokale marktjes aan de kust 20 - 30 minuten Camaiore zelf is een klein plaatsje en op zich niet heel bijzonder, maar als je in deze omgeving bent moet je er lekker op uit om meer van Toscane te zien. Zowel de eigenaar als de tussenpersoon waren zeer behulpzaam en service gericht. Men was altijd bereikbaar voor tips of vragen.

Schöner Familienurlaub

Wir haben 4 Wochen in diesem wunderbaren, perfekt renovierten Haus verbracht und uns überaus wohl gefühlt. Franco und Chiara sind sehr hilfsbereit und waren immer für uns erreichbar. Das Haus und das riesige Grundstück bieten genügend Platz für eine große Familie, alles ist gepflegt und sauber. Besonders schön fanden wir die absolute Ruhe, den herrlichen Pool und die authentische Atmosphäre des Hauses, das innen und außen wirklich geschmackvoll eingerichtet ist. Die Nähe zum Meer und Städten wie Lucca und Pisa machen Il Castagno zum perfekten Domizil für den Urlaub mit der Familie. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

great "toscan" feeling in this house

We had a really great time in this beautiful and clean Toscana house. The owner and Chiara welcomed us and were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are similar to the photos. We used also the possibility of having a cook in the house, perfect if you don't want to cook or are tired after visiting a nice nearby town. We stayed with 9 persons, there was enough space and shower/ bathrooms. We enjoyed especially the terrace and great kitchen. Hope to come back another time. I (we!) surely recommend this house! Luca is nearby, and worthwhile visiting as is the Cinque Terre.

Ein echter toskanischer Traum

Die Anzeige verspricht nicht zuviel, im Gegenteil....Das Anwesen ist viel schöner als auf den Bildern dargestellt. Alles in einem Superzustand, sauber und gepflegt. Der Kontakt sowohl zu Chiara als auch Franco war unkompliziert und sehr freundlich.Die ganze Abwicklung war äußerst beispielhaft. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!
