Meet Arlene, an extraordinary 1914 farmhouse restored to her former glory. Located near historic Utsalady Bay and just minutes from shopping, dining, golf and beaches. Enjoy sitting on the front porch watching the world go by, or cozy up inside with a good book or a movie. Take a walk or ride a bike down one of Camano Island's most historic streets and watch the sun set across the bay.
Original hardwood floors and shiplap, beautifully renovated bathrooms, fully stocked laundry. Ensuite bed/bath with Queen bed and second bedroom with full bed. Quality linens and towels. Fully appointed kitchen and big yard with fruit trees. Come to Camano Island and stay awhile!

This property worked great for our late summer mini to getaway. It was homey, comfy, clean, had everything we needed (and more), and had a nice open yard for running around. We appreciated the small welcoming touches and the generous check-in and check-out times. We would definitely stay again.

This would be our second stay at Arlene’s. The farmhouse has everything you could need, beds are excellent, kitchen is fully stocked, used the grill regularly. Best front porch to watch your day start or your evening end. We made it to the Stanwood community fair, Friday farmers market, trivia on Wednesday at pub 282, kayaked on lake Howard and got in 10 rounds of golf. Can’t wait to get back next year

Another Great Stay!

We stayed at the Arlene again while visiting family in town. The house was as wonderful as last time. Super clean, comfortable and equipped. Probably the only thing that would have made our stay even better was an electric kettle for tea. But that’s just me being fussy. Awesome place, would definitely stay again.

Golf fanatics

We just finished an Alaska cruise and was lucky enough to spend nine days on Camano Island. It was golf, great food from the Blue Heron and a ferry trip for more golf on Lopez Island. We did hikes on Camano golfed up North at Sudden Valley, we had such a great time we’ve booked the house again for next summer. It would have been our best trip ever if the blackberries would have been ripe, but there’s always next year

Enchantment awaits you at this cottage

This is the perfect get away home for one person or a small family. The property is situated right in the midst of bayside walking and easy driving to all the island amenities. It's setting is next to a large field which gives one a sense of space and serenity at this very gracious get away home.

Lovely old home made new

Aside from how beautifully this historic house has been redone (truly amazing details), what really knocked it out of the park for us were the owners' supportive, reliable communication and the cleanliness of the place. We have to be sticklers for clean surroundings due to immunosuppression, and this is, hands down, the cleanest place we've ever stayed. The beds were super comfy, the book selection fantastic, and the porch perfect for a morning cup of tea. We hope to return one day with our older teen who loves bird watching, and this place is perfect for that. Thank you so much!

A great stay... again...

We are repeat customers at this location and we just love it. The owners did an awesome job at renovating this farmhouse, we had everything we needed to cook while onsite (which is a big thing for us); the location on Camano Island is also beautiful and relatively close to Stanwood where you have more options for provisions and dining as well.
