Studio is a great jump off to explore the Columbia River Gorge, with countless iconic gorge hikes, waterfalls, horse trails, bird watching, skiing Mt Hood, windsurfing, and countless sightseeing stops along hwy 14. This private entrance studio offers Breath taking Views of Mt Hood and the Columbia River. The studio is on the second floor with stairs to the outside entrance. Only 25 minute to Portland and 10 minutes from the Portland Airport. Take a stroll to downtown Camas or Washougal and enjoy the local brew pubs, wine bar, and restaurants, you are even closer to outdoor adventures .Only a few Steps away to kayaking/ paddle-boarding, swimming, and fishing.
It is perfect for relaxing and taking in the tranquil wonders of Nature. The studio offers a private outdoor deck, perfect for a cup of coffee, watching the heron’s catch a fish, or Alfresco dining. Studio includes a tempurpedic queen bed, full bath with shower, well stocked kitchen, outdoor pub table/barbeque, Wi-Fi, smart tv & games, couch folds out into a full bed.

Kim was very accommodating to our needs. The property is conveniently located to shopping, restaurants, sightseeing, recreation and the Portland air port. we would definitely like to stay here again

Fantastic Stay on the Columbia

I had a great time staying here. The rental is very clean, cozy, comfortable, and well outfitted with appliances. The view is incredible, and Kim the host is super friendly and accommodating. I really could not have picked a better place to stay and I will be recommending this listing to my friends and family. Pictures don't do the view justice and I hope to stay here again soon!

Perfect location and amazing view

This studio has everything you need for 2 people to comfortably stay. We were here an entire month and loved every day of it! The view is simply incredible and the photos don't do any justice of the Columbia river, the gorge, Mt. Hood, and the private beach area. The inside is more spacious than we expected and you can tell that everything was built with good quality. Everything was clean and we felt so nice waking up here each day. The kitchen was well equipped, the bed was VERY comfortable, and there was even an area to store all of our things. Kim was very kind and helpful and we were happy to be able to spend an evening getting to know her. We couldn't have asked for more!

Just what we needed!

Just book it! The perfect space to relax, cook, read, sleep...whatever makes you happy. The views are incredible. It was the perfect size for us and I loved the views from the bed...so peaceful to wake up to. We hiked each day and returned to make dinner and relax, just what we wanted!

A Little Piece of Heaven

A wonderful location to relax and enjoy watching the active Columbia with its boaters, fisherman, barges, and Wildlife! We had no TV on for three nights and days! The little Lanai was a perfect place to relax after a day of exploring and hiking.. We will definitely come back when we need another Escape in a safe and comfortable location.

Spend more than a weekend

Not expecting to find any waterfront over the 4th of July, but was blessed with a last-minute cancelation. Directly on the Columbia River with spectacular views of river traffic, wildlife, fireworks, plenty of places to explore. Well stocked with everything we needed and then some. Thanks, Kim! Beautiful spot on THE river!

The views are wonderful! We woke up to birds singing and a calm view of the Columbia River and Mt Hood. We spent each day exploring the Pacific NW... Oregon Coast, Mt Rainier, Mt Hood and tons of local hikes and trails. Then each evening we relaxed with the same calm view and birds singing us to sleep. Awesome home away from home!

Relaxing getaway. Truly a million dollar view

we spent 5 nights here and didn't want to leave. This place is probably one of the most comfortable and relaxing places we have stayed in. Just sitting on the couch, or out on the patio listening to all the birds and watching the river flow by was amazing. We will be back. Do not miss out on this little gem. On the water, incredible view!

Could Not believe view from this place! Directly on the Columbia River and MT Hood on the horizon. Every morning sunrise and in the evening sunset!! Clean, easy in and out, a treat! Definitely a couples retreat!

Pretty but....

Loved the location of this property. The ad was a little misleading. We thought there was more outdoor space for us to enjoy. The deck was very small but appreciated. We would have liked a few resin Adirondack chairs near the water which would have been lovely in the evening. We read the manual thoroughly upon arrival to ensure that we respected the home. The directions for the AC were followed but apparently the owner had a change that wasn't included in the book. Not a problem but we felt very bad when we got sticky notes correcting us. Recommend that the linens, including blankets for pullout sleeper, be freshened up. (I realize that is a reflection on the cleaning service and not the owner so this is offered as feedback for them.). We felt very safe at this location which is a big plus for our family. Also the location was in the middle of what we wanted to do....visit the falls and explore Portland. LOVE that. Overall this was a very nice experience which we would recommend and do again. THANKS.

Even better than advertised!

I can’t imagine a more peaceful location! The garden out the back is beautiful and the view of the river was amazing! The house had everything we needed including a great sleep on a super comfy mattress. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely stay there again when in the area.

Camas/Vancouver Place to stay!

What a wonderful VRBO! Come for the views, but stay for the comfortable bed, nice furnishings and well stocked kitchen. We agree with all the other reviews about the location, so I won't repeat. Some other details, though: Unit has a few basic spices/seasonings which is so helpful. There is a grill on the smallish deck connected to the VRBO. The sun pours into the space from big windows and two skylights. Which is wonderful! However, there is no way to make it a dark space during the day. So if you want to be a late or day sleeper, this would be tricky. When we are visiting family in Vancouver the next time, we hope Kim and her wonderful VRBO are available.

Perfect place!!

This lovely home in Camas, Washington, is beyond beautiful. We enjoyed the tranquil river with beautiful birds and river life. Relaxing is sooo easy! Our stay was wonderful. Kim was there if we needed her and her VRBO property had everything you would need. Stores are close by. Just a great experience. If we are up that way, wouldn't hesitate to stay again!!

We were in Camas for a baseball tournament and this worked out perfect. Location was just minutes away and we hit a beautiful stretch of weather so the view as beautiful!

Perfect getaway

This is the perfect getaway! The check-in process was very simple. Kim greeted us shortly after we arrived and said we could call her with questions. She has a binder with menus of local restaurants that was helpful. We loved the views and watching the boats go up and down the Columbia River. Every morning and evening we would watch the Canadian geese, bunnies and other birds in the yard. It was so peaceful and relaxing! The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were soft. We had forgotten our shampoo so it was nice that there were several choices of shampoo to use in the bathroom. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies we would have needed if we wanted to cook but we ate out every day. The convenience of being so close to Vancouver and Portland allowed us to go on several hikes. We hope to stay here next time we come to the area.

Wonderful and helpful host. The accommodations were perfect. There were spectacular views from the windows of Mt Humphreys and the Colombia River. Nicely equipped kitchenette . Very comfortable bed! Nice bathroom with lovely toiletries. I would love to come back for another stay. I would t even consider staying anywhere else!

Relaxation retreat!

Kim provides a beautiful upstairs flat overlooking the river gorge and views of Mt Hood. The sound of her pond below is very relaxing to listen to as you sit on the outside deck and enjoy the view. She provides many amenities to enjoy your stay and was very hospitable with allowing us to join her around her fireplace. I would highly recommend staying here for a relaxing visit near Camas, WA.

Beautiful View!

The Columbia River Retreat was great! The bed was very comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed in it, and it was peaceful and quiet. The area was beautiful with the Columbia River as our "backyard" and Mt. Hood in the distance. We are planning on return in 2020. Thank you, Kim.
