Luxurious 3 bed Lodge with private hot tub close to city of Cambridge

Magdalene Lodge is a fantastic Lodge located at Cambridge Country Club. It has spectacular views over the championship golf course and offers guests a relaxing getaway, whilst being really close to the university city of Cambridge. All guests to the lodge are able to use the facilities at the Country Club, which includes use of the beautiful swimming pool, the state of the art gym and the golf course. There is also a spa where a wide range of treatments are available and can be booked before arrival. Cambridge Country Club has a bar and a restaurant for breakfast or lunch.

The lodge is very peaceful and extremely stylish.
The lounge area has 2 large sofas with a large wall mounted smart TV.
There are bifolding doors which open onto the fantastic decked area, where you can enjoy alfresco dining overlooking the golf course or soak in the fantastic hot tub to totally relax.
The master bedroom contains a superking bed with a wall mounted smart TV and French doors which open onto the decking area. There are also fitted wardrobes and a dressing table. The en-suite contains a bath where you can totally relax and even watch the TV! There is also a huge luxurious rain shower.
The second bedroom has a double bed with French windows opening onto the terrace and the third bedroom has two single beds, ideal for children or which can be joined together to make another superking bed. (Please advise if this is needed when booking.)
The kitchen is fully equipped with a double oven, built in microwave/grill, ceramic hob, dishwasher, washer dryer, American fridge freezer and wine fridge, everything you could wish for and the dining area has a large table plenty big enough for 6 adults.
All in all the perfect getaway to suit even the most discerning traveller.

Relaxing break

It is a very comfortable place to stay with a great outlook over the greens of the golf course. It was quiet despite being near to a road. The hot tub, the decking and ample outside space with furniture made outside very inviting. Our host was brilliant and very accommodating. we will definitely make a return trip.

Perfect Stay on the Greens

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this VRBO! Nestled right on a picturesque golf course just outside Cambridge, the location was both serene and convenient. Waking up to the peaceful view of the greens each morning was such a treat, and the sunsets from the patio were unforgettable.The property itself was spotless, stylishly furnished, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Want it to be more casual, romantic, family-friendly, or focused on golf? I can tailor it!

Would highly recommend

A great property in a beautiful location overlooking the golf course and a wild meadow. The lodge is as described on the website with lovely furnishings and very well equipped and spacious. Towels are provided for use of the hot tub and for the Country club for swimming (which is free to lodge guests). The addition of board games in the lodge was a great idea, our kids loved the ludo and snakes and ladders. The host was attentive and communicated well. We would highly recommend this lodge. Our only very slight issue was departure time. One email stated "before 11am" and one departure at 10am. Luckily as we weren't sure which time was correct we were ready for 10am, perhaps ensure this is the same on each correspondence. Thank you for a great stay.

Time out with the girls

This is the second visit to the lodge - I think that says plenty in itself. A lovely location, set up well, comfy beds, well equipped kitchen and awesome fridge plus great hot tub and super walks to nearby pub for lunch. And if you prefer your exercise/chill nearer to base, then you can use the spa facilities at the golf club.We have recommended it to others and our intent is to return!

Best VRBO so far

Great attention to detail with everything needed available. Fantastic position not far from supermarket but also next to all facility to make a perfect holiday. So happy we chose here, would definitely look at a return visit x
