Downtown Delight - Penthouse w/ Rooftop Hot Tub

Summary:
Feel like you are on the rooftop to the world in this gorgeous, dog-friendly loft. Tranquil, private and spacious, this is your mountain home away from home. Brew a cup of locally roasted coffee while you prepare for an epic day in the Rocky Mountains. 5 minutes walk to Canmore Main St for boutique shopping, cafes and restaurants, yet a million miles from anywhere. Great dog walking trails right across the street, & easy access to the mountains by car or transit. Dog Friendly!

The Space:
The condo is stocked with locally made, 100% natural bath and body products. The kitchen contains everything you could possibly need to cook up a storm, including complimentary local Eclipse coffee, a Keurig coffee maker, tea, sugar, cooking oil and BBQ spices. The private deck has seating and a BBQ, the perfect place to relax and enjoy those amazing views in the summer, or cozy up on the couch and look at those same views from the warmth of the living room with romantic gas fireplace.

The entire apartment is kept clean using only eco-friendly cleaning products (no nasty chemicals here!). It is best suited for couples or families and there is extra accommodation for 1-2 people in the comfy sofa bed if you need it. Please note the master bedroom is a loft, so it is open to the main living area downstairs, and the bathroom in the loft is open to the bedroom. The two rooftop hot tubs and one indoor hot tub (just across the hall) are a welcome place to revive sore muscles after a day of adventure, and if you want to work off dinner, there is a small but functional gym in the building. Hot tubs and gym are shared facilities.

Canmore offers loads of opportunities for the adventurous and serene alike. Hike, bike, climb, ski, white water raft or canoe, and when you need a little downtime, settle with a picnic blanket and a book in a park besides the river in summer, or cozy up in front of the fire in winter. Please note: Hot Tub A is currently out of order as of Jan 2025 - waiting for parts.

Guest Access:
Guests may access all areas of the condo itself, and everywhere in the 3 buildings that comprise Canmore Crossing. This includes the two rooftop hot tubs and 3 fitness rooms (one per building).

The Neighborhood:
This downtown neighborhood is only a 5-minute walk to main St. Supermarkets and coffee shops are even closer, in the adjacent complex. Drive 15 minutes to reach the boutiques and sights of Banff, and ski, bike, and hike in nearby Banff National Park.

Getting Around:
Canmore is small and easy to get around on foot, by car or by public transit. There is free public transportation around Canmore and to/from Banff (Banff return is $12). Information about Canmore and Banff Roam Transit timetables are provided in the condo.

Other Things to Note:
Please note: There are internal stairs in this property. This property is not air conditioned and it can get warm in summer. Please reach out if you need air conditioning and we can direct you to one of our air conditioned properties.

Interaction with Guests:
We are professional vacation managers who live in town and will happily offer as much or as little support as you need during your stay. Stunning Views!A few broken items within unit directions for thermostat were unclear -Apps never worked check in nor for check out
had check in link show up when clicked check out had to go to elevator and scan barcode for hot tub /before that i called Jane who was absolutely amazing!the metal height indicator bar for the entrance to the parking lot is much lower than the 6’9” height it claims. thus scraping the top of our rental truck which was much lower than 6’9”

Awesome view, great location, beautiful apartment

Don’t hesitate to book your stay here. The owner is wonderful and accessible. Apartment is walking distance (less than 10 minutes for many shops and restaurants) from downtown Canmore. The amenities in the building are nice as well if you have time to utilize them (hot tub and gym).We stayed in winter and it was quite cozy and comfortable with the heating system and gas fireplace.

Feb Canmore Family Week

I have stayed in this complex years ago, though dated* property, our unit was very clean. Property has good central location to walk Canmore area for anything. Cars needed for accessing ski areas. * there were quite a few issues over the duration of our 4th floor stay in Bldg B: broken elevator, building A hot tub down so overflow came to indoor Bldg B tub, borden wobbly toilet on main floor of condo which was know to maintenance before our check-in, tea cups only no coffee cups, unusable fry pan, open upper loft toilet (no door) was somewhat disconcerting esp. since no one wanted to use the broken wobbly toilet on main floor, both guest queen and sofa pull-out mattress's were vert dated and not in any way comfortable and should be replaced. Bed linens were nice with plush robes too. More bath & hand towels. Loft is very open, so any main floor condo noise and light can be disruptive. Any use of 2 rooftop outdoor hot tubs (Bldg A & C) and Bldg B inside hot tubs must be booked in advance. If the issues we had are tended to, we would consider a return stay, or another until, perhaps a 3 bedroom!

Perfect Spot to Explore Beautiful Area

We loved this place. It was close to amenities and loads of sightseeing spots. We easily visited Banff, Paint Pots, Continental Divide, Marble Canyon, Lake Louise, Emerald Lake, Natural Bridge, and Snowy Owl Dog Sleigh company based 9 min walk away in Canmore (lovely owners)The property itself was very clean and well stocked. Any small hiccups or questions were quickly answered by the helpful host. The property was well stocked and there were nice touches lik local coffee beans and a grinder, for fresh morning coffee. The parking was ideal and heated and hot top loterally opposite the room. The views of the mountains from the main rooms were wonderful. We would recommend this spot to anyone and would return. . .

We came to Canmore for our son's wedding at Kananaskis Village. Overall the condo was very clean, check in was easy and had everything we needed. Pricing was good for the time we were there. Location was excellent with only a short 5min walk to downtown. Views out the large windows didn't hurt either...very nice.

The property was in a prime spot in Canmore! Check in was easy and management responded quickly to our questions. My only complaint was that the second bedroom was more of a loft area. There were not full walls or a door. This might be great with families but it was awkward with adult couples. Overall all I thought it was a nice, clean place.

Lovely place in the middle of everything

This property is a great location with a view of the mountains. It felt very homey and comfortable and we enjoyed the close proximity to everything! We had a couple of small issues but everything was dealt with promptly by the property manager. We did not get to use the hot tub as it was under maintenance. The only other downside of this property is there is a Canadian tire right across the way which became part of the view when you walk in. Other than that, we would highly recommend this property and would definitely come back.
