This beautifully appointed beachfront apartment sits on the third floor (European second) of a sought-after elevator building directly on Plage Salis — one of the most beloved stretches of sand on the Côte d'Azur.

From your two balconies, the views tell two different stories: azure blue lateral views of the beach in one direction, and the pine-forested silhouette of Cap d'Antibes in the other.

The Apartment

Sleeping up to four guests, the apartment offers a queen bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a clothes washing machine. Quality linens and towels are provided, along with TV+cable/Netflix, WiFi. mobile air conditioners in the living room and bedroom keep our place nice and cool.

The Location

Few places on the Riviera offer this kind of effortless access to both nature and culture. The famous Provençal market and the world-renowned Picasso Museum are a short stroll along the pedestrian promenade atop Antibes' ancient ramparts. The old town — Vieil Antibes — is ten minutes on foot, with its excellent bistros, wine bars, fromageries, boulangeries, and an organic food shop all in the immediate neighborhood.

For nightlife, Juan-les-Pins is a fifteen-minute walk. For the rest of the Riviera, the train station is twenty-eigh minutes on foot — putting Cannes, Nice, Monaco, Èze, and even the Italian Ligurian coast within easy day-trip reach.

Had a great week at this property with our family of four. Great location, just moments from the beach and walking distance to the old town (15 mins) and Juan Le Pins (20). Spacious and light filled apartment. Many amenities. Valérie, who takes care of the apartment, is lovely. Building is across street from the Plage de la Salis, a sandy beach, gorgeous Mediterranean view. Fairly easy to reach the old town and Picasso Museum.

The apartment is much bigger than it looks In the photos so we had more than enough space for our little family of three. Great location; large apartment

This is our 3rd holiday period in Antibes -- such a great Riviera city. This time it was 11 days. The apartment has a lot of room and was comfortable. It does need an overall thorough cleaning, we noted. We ourselves have a rental on VRBO, and provide more thorough cleaning in it. But all is very practical for our needs. We recommend it to others. Rudi and Valerie were very helpful and great communicators.

On arrival, we were met by Valérie. A nice lady who gave us the keys and gave us the information regarding apartment etc. Gave us a bottle of wine and some lovely fruit, nice gesture. Home away from home

Everything regarding our stay in this apartment was wonderful; the location is excellent, a comfortable walk to old town and surrounding areas and a block or so to the bus station to reach surroundings. It is also 1 minute away from two beaches. The building is secure and the apartment is furnished comfortably. Special note about the sofa bed; never came across such high quality and comfortable sofa bed. The apartment had literally everything one needed, even coffee pods, spices, etc. that was remarkable. Special thanks to Valerie for her assistance and kindness. We will be back!

Perfect Spot by the Sea

My husband and I had another wonderful stay at Rudi and Diana's apartment. It is in a safe and secure building 3 minutes from the beach. It was spotlessly clean, having everything we needed for the week: comfortable bed and sofa, washer, plenty of linens (good quality), good dishware and pots and pans, air conditioning, and a great location with a view of the sea from the balcony. Valerie met us with keys and snacks to start off our vacation and made herself available quickly when we had questions. We have visited Antibes many times but this is our favorite place. Thanks to all of you for a most memorable vacation. We will be back!

Lovely stay, great host

This is a comfortable apartment in a nice location just steps from the shore and a short walk into the old town. The host, Diana, couldn’t have been more responsive and helpful. If you come with a car and aren’t used to the very tight parking garages in France, be forewarned. After one attempt to maneuver our small car in the garage, we gave up and parked on the street—and that posed no problem at all. Always plenty of spaces. We would definitely rent this place again. Perfect Location/Perfect Apartment

My daughters and I thoroughly enjoyed our 3 week stay at Diana’s beautiful apartment. Antibes is an excellent location to launch other day trips along the Riviera, but this apartment also boasts an ideal spot steps from the beach and the amazing sights/shops/restaurants of the old historic centre. We were greeted upon our arrival by the kindest, most pleasant manager (Valerie) and the apartment was spotless. I would love to come back to Antibes and stay in Diana’s perfect apartment in January or February when the crowds are likely thinner, but in this apartment, you cannot go wrong in any month of the year. Thank you very much Diana and Valerie!

La Dolce Vita

The apartment was quite comfy and well maintained. All the appliances worked well, the cable TV had about ten English language news channels, the wi-fi speed was excellent, and the furniture was of high quality. One small caveat is that noise from adjacent apartments was not muted by the concrete construction. The apartment was centrally located to walk the narrow lanes of Cap D'Antibes and view the gorgeous villas. The beautiful beaches of Juan-les-Pins were a short walk away. Antibes is centrally located facilitating day trips from St. Tropez to Menton. Highly recommended.

Excellent solution of a littel waterproblem!

Thanks to generous help from the owner Diana and the landlady Valerie a problem with leakage of water in the zink was very fast fixed. We called Valerie and the same day she visited us to see what was the problem. Se contacted the owne and the next day Valerie came with a plummer and installed a new and very high quality tap. The problem was excellent solved and we had a lovely week in Antibes thanks to Diana and Valerie!.

Antibes week

We had difficulty finding the place when we arrived. We had no email or message with contact numbers from the host or Valerie. It was only when Valerie rang me, that we could get in to the flat. The flat is in need of decoration, there is small corners of wall paper peeling off of the walls, but the flat was clean and tidy. We had a lovely week, bed was comfy, kitchen had all we needed, great shower, a bit of English tv, coffee shop over the road, bakery very close and town about 20 mins away. We hired a car to explore the area, and had no trouble trying to park near the flat. We also got the train to Cannes and then to nice, easy to park at the station, and regular trains running.

Diana's apartment

We spent the week of May 14 - 21 2011 in this apartment in Antibes and absolutely fell in love with the location and apartment. There were three of us which I think is ideal since there is only one bathroom. Diana was very helpful and prompt with her emails. The apartment was very clean and the pictures are very accurate. The kitchen is well stocked and a small grocery store is close by. Her housekeeper does not speak any English which can be a problem but if you contact Diana in advance as far as transportation from the airport, clean up expectations, etc. that is not a problem. You can walk everywhere. The train station is about a 20 minute very pleasant walk from the apartment. No need for a car. We visited Cannes, Eze, Monte Carlo, St Paul de Vence, Nice, and Antibes. We ate lunch wherever we were touring and cooked a nice dinner in the apartment at night. Buses did not run frequently near the apartment and were not running at all on Sundays. Museums are closed on Tuesdays. I would absolutely recommend this apartment and owner to a friend or relative. This was the best vacation I have ever had!

Ideal position, with a private outlook.

We are a couple of “tired around the edges” OAP’s and over 40 years ago we first came to stay in self catering accommodation in Antibes, at that time with our children and in laws, when the children were young we came more or less every year. We always liked to spend time on the Salis beach and to visit the restaurants in the Old Town. Over the years, we have visited and stayed in various properties, including a close by local hotel. This year we stayed in this spacious one bedroom flat which offered easy access to both the Salis beach and a short stroll to the old town. In spite of the weather being the worst we had experienced in Antibes, for the time of year, we had a very enjoyable holiday. We haven’t been self catering for a long time and I was delighted to find everything we needed to have a comfortable stay. The first impression of the flat was that it was very “tired around the edges” and we knew it lacked a dishwasher. As the days carried on, we became fonder of the flat by the day, the sun (when out) was on the bedroom and kitchen balcony side in the morning and the sitting room side in the afternoon. We knew we wouldn’t be looking directly at the sea, but the views on both sides were mainly private and leafy green trees…if you forgot the car park on the bedroom and kitchen side. The onsite swimming pool was great too. The host and caretaker could not have been more helpful. So, not a typical glamorous 5 star, but a great base at a reasonable cost.

HOME AWAY FROM HOME!

My wife and I stayed at this lovely apartment for 6 days. I wish we had stayed longer. It was our first time in Antibes and it was the beginning of our 5-week vacation in France. Diane’s apartment made us feel very much at home. It met our expectations or exceeded our expectations. We were surprised with her welcoming basket of fruits and a bottle of wine waiting for us. We have travelled in Europe and have stayed at apartments and never had we had this gesture from the owner. Diane was very professional from the time I contacted her regarding her apartment. She also emailed me to ensure that everything was taken care of before and during our stay. The apartment is all the positive things other reviewers have said in regards to the spaciousness, cleanliness, the décor, the location and surroundings, the proximity to the beach and other attractions, and the amenities (my wife who loves to cook thought that the kitchen was well equipped for a vacation home). If there were 6 stars, I would award them all to this property. We walked everywhere. We walked to Juan Le Pins to Patisserie De La Pinede on Ave. George Gallice near Jardins de la Pinede. The patisserie was recommended by our neighbour at home who is from Nice and everything was so good. We took the bus to Nice, Cannes and Monaco for 1 Euro each way. We love Antibes and will certainly return in the near future and consider to staying longer. After our stay at this wonderful apartment, we were disappointed with the apartments we had rented throughout our trip in France. I guess we were spoiled at the beginning of our trip. I have already recommended this apartment to some of my friends and relatives who are planning on visiting French Riviera in the near future.
