It is located less then 10 minutes away from Palo Duro Canyon. Home is always stocked with coffee, creamer, sugar, and flour! Fenced in backyard, and field behind home is also available to let your fur babies run in!

We had an amazing stay! Property was clean and just as expected/described. View was great. Hosts were very communicative and answered all questions. We had no issues while staying but I did leave my pillows. Hosts offered to ship them to me. They were great! The house has since been painted white and is no longer blue. This was a bit confusing when looking for the property but we figured it out.

The property was in an extremely convenient location. The property was clean and cozy. The back yard made it really easy for our pets. The property owners are very responsive. I appreciated the binder with restaurant and other locations to visit such as the Creek House Honey Farm and the Lumber Yard.

The location of this home was ideal for our trip. We were in town for a family reunion near Wayside and Happy, and this property made it easy to get to those small towns, Amarillo, Canyon, and Palo Duro State Park.We arrived around 10:30 PM and were initially surprised by the exterior of the house—it’s small and definitely in need of fresh paint. However, once we stepped inside, we found a cozy, clean, and inviting cottage-style home that felt comfortable right away.We did have an issue with the water not working late the night we arrived, but the owners were extremely responsive and came right over to fix it, which we really appreciated.We also loved exploring the area! Highly recommend The Ranch House CafĂ© in Canyon, The Sad Monkey Mercantile on the way to Palo Duro, and Honey Buzz Winery for its mead and charming gift shop.Overall, while the exterior could use some updates, the location, comfort, and attentiveness of the hosts make this a great home base for exploring the region.

I loved this little house! Perfect place to stay for me and my family while visiting Palo Duro Canyon. Also had a fenced in backyard for my dog. Can’t wait to come back!

While a little sketchy upon arrival (the outside of the house could use some updating), the inside was adorable and comfortable. It was a very affordable option that was very close to Palo Duro Canyon. And dog friendly with a fenced back yard!!!

The inside of the house was very nice and cozy. We were thrown by the looks of the outside of the house. Thought we were at the wrong place. The old saying "Do not judge a book by it's cover" !! Very pleasant stay !!!

Although the walk-up look to the property leaves a lot to be desired, inside the house is clean, cute, and comfortable. The driveway needs new gravel, as it is pretty muddy in places. The dishwasher had dishes in it that hadn't been washed, so I had to handwash the prior peoples' dishes for breakfast. The checkout instructions require the trash be taken to a dumpster on a different property about 100 yards away. There is no way to walk it down, so you'll have to drive it, but beware, as that property had a very muddy drive. Luckily, we have an AWD vehicle, but some cars could get stuck.

Convenient location to Palo Duro Canyon and the City of Canyon. There are steps to enter the house and the first one is a large step up there is a study railing to hold on to. House was clean and decorated nicely. The cabin is older and is not well insulated, it does get very hot in the day due to the sun coming thru the windows and the fact that there are only window units in the bedrooms and a floor unit in the living room.The kitchen and utility room have absolutely no circulation. Not all burners work on the stove. There is plenty of Folgers coffee, paper towels dish soap etc and the utensils are good and well stocked. There are only enough chairs for 4 people at the table, there was 5 of us. Plenty of hot water. The refrigerator wasn’t cooling when we first arrived but after a day was working fine. The beds are extremely soft with thick memory foam. The owners were very attentive and responded very quickly.

Lovely farmhouse close to Palo Duro

My son and I were traveling between San Antonio and Colorado Springs and looking for a place about halfway. Usually we stay in Amarillo. But this location was so much better. Close to Canyon and Palo Duro, and still not so far from Amarillo. Highly recommend.
