We Played Cards and Board Games next to the water. A group of Deer walked by in the back yard and a Fox came by. It was relaxing , a small slice of what Texas was like in the 90' when i was a kid.

The house was well organized, clean. The view was beautiful. Was perfect relaxing getaway for our two family groups which was a total of 10. Close to Gruene which is where we went for festivities one of the days.

We had the best stay! The house was perfect for our party of 10, 3 full bathrooms to accommodate 4 preteen girls ha! The lake access was perfect for kayaking, swimming, and fishing! We even enjoyed lakeside smores! My only complaint was the oven and stove took a little longer to cook through but we couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

Mow Time on the Lake

This slightly upscale neighborhood is laid back and conveniently located near the canyon lake dam with many local establishments close by. The lake water was low during our stay, but we were able to haul some chairs, canopies, and inflatables down to the waters edge for enjoyment. Note, the path may be very challenging if your mobility is limited.The house itself was beautiful and it easily accommodated our family of ten. Only issue we had was the tall grass. The entire property could use a mowing, but just a trim around the perimeter of the home would've been helpful. Overall we had a relaxing week and would recommend this spot for your family's retreat.

Family stay

We had an amazing time at New Braunfels Escapes. Everything was clean and great location. Really close to the water and great for kids too. The only thing was that the toilet in the masters was not working properly and the refrigerator went out. Just some maintenance work but overall a great stay. Definitely coming back!

Best Winter Getaway In Texas

The hill country has always been our favorite place but this place took it to a whole new level! Spacious house! Gorgeous property! The right amount away from everything that you feel the care free country life but close enough you can run out for snacks real quick! All the views and the areas set up to enjoy the views are the highest on my list! Will definitely be back soon!!!

Labor Day

We had an amazing time, the location and water access was excellent. We were able to anchor our boat right near the house and come and go all day long without having to worry about trailering our boat back and forth. We even were able to enjoy the water access to the lake without the boat which is a definite plus! The property was beautiful and enjoyed seeing all of the wildlife. The deer would come and eat right from your hands. We had an amazing time and would definitely recommend your rental

Great location on the lake!

We had a group of seven 17-20 year old boys with us for a quick summer trip. They had a great time. The house was good for 8-10 people and the lake front was great. The only suggestion I have is that the owner replace the gas grill because it is significantly corroded...but it did work fine. The kitchen and living areas are good for the max occupancy of 12 in the listing. The management company that runs the location communicated well and responded quickly when we had questions. It was a great trip!

Great location on the water

We stayed for 3 days at the house in July and it was very comfortable. The direct access to the lake was fantastic and the kids really enjoyed splashing around. The house has plenty of space to spread out and relax. The upstairs bedrooms could probably use a carpet cleaning as there were some big stains, but otherwise the house seemed very clean. We greatly enjoyed our time here!
