## Disappointing Stay: Significant Issues with Accuracy, Pests, and ServiceOverall Rating: 2 / 5 StarsWe booked this property expecting a premium, relaxing family getaway, but the experience unfortunately fell quite short of the listing's description. While the pool was lovely and our kids enjoyed seeing local deer, several serious issues significantly impacted our stay:Pest & Safety Concerns: We were very concerned to find live scorpions inside the home—specifically in the bathroom and on the kitchen counter near the stove—as well as around the pool area. The outdoor spaces also had an overwhelming number of bugs, making it difficult to fully enjoy the yard.Misleading Location:The listing explicitly markets this as a "lakefront" property, which is inaccurate as the water is nowhere near the home. Past reviews show this has been a recurring complaint from guests, yet the description has still not been corrected.No Wi-Fi & Unhelpful Service: The internet was completely down for our entire 3-day stay, causing a major inconvenience with four kids. When we contacted management, they were slow to respond and dismissive, stating it wasn’t an "emergency" because amenities are not guaranteed.Poor Maintenance: Despite a high mandatory cleaning fee, the outdoor grill was covered in thick, old grease and clearly had not been cleaned in a long time.Between the pests, the inaccurate description, and the lack of helpful customer service, we unfortunately cannot recommend this stay.
