This award-winning home has been featured in several magazines and is available to discerning guests for the first time. This three-story home has a delightful split personality. The street side is cloaked in patrician formality, with round columns on the porch and a Palladium window over the front door. The waterfront side is breezy and fun, with a double-gallery oversized porch running the entire length of the home with bay views, enjoy beautiful views indoors and outdoors with fabulous interiors and new Ravenna tile throughout the home.

Overlooking the Chesapeake Bay, expansive decks on all three floors allow you to bask in the stunning views. With 4 bedrooms (including two primary ensuites), over 4,700 square feet and private access to the beach, this home is perfect for family gatherings of all sizes, with top of the line TVs and electronics throughout the house. The first floor of the home offers a study for your personal remote workspace, including paneled walls and adjacent wet bar. The second-floor Queen bedrooms have own bathrooms and generous walk-in closets with one bedroom opening to the upper porch to take advantage of the Chesapeake Bay views and breezes. The property offers a second bedroom with ensuite full bathroom over the detached garage with a private entrance. Your friends & family can enjoy time together in the main home, but spread out comfortably in the evenings.

The kitchen, breakfast room and living room connect to the lower porch. The home's gourmet kitchen offers a La Cornue 43” range and custom zinc and brass range hood. The formal dining room features a custom Virginia walnut live edge table with seating for 10. On the expansive third-floor entertainment suite enjoy a full bar and gorgeous observation deck with spectacular bay views and full bathroom. Two queen sleeper sofas provide flexibility for larger groups.

Outside the home, a one-of-a-kind outdoor gathering hub against the backdrop of the Chesapeake with Arteflame Grill for grilling up your favorite meals with an amazing view! Step out to the sands with private beach access, the Littleton Tazewell House is a vacation experience like no other!

Bay Creek's Life Center, Resort Package (Nightly Fee Applies)
For use of Bay Creek's Life Center, which has three pools, a slide, splashpad, and a state of the art fitness center, a fee of $75/night applies. Contact the host to add the Bay Creek Resort Members Life Center to your stay. Guests must complete a Bay Creek Life Center esign waiver prior to receiving access, which will be sent for completion. Use of the resort package applies to the full extent of nights booked. Optional or shortened nights are not available. Guests who purchase the resort package also have access to book tee times and rent beach chairs and umbrellas (additional fees apply).

Littleton Tazewell (1774-1860)
Littleton Waller Tazewell was a prominent Virginia lawyer and statesman whose family owned extensive land holdings on the Eastern Shore in the 18th and 19th centuries. He served as Governor of Virginia from 1834-1836 and represented the Commonwealth in the US Senate from 1825-1832. He was born in Williamsburg in 1774 and graduated from The College of William and Mary School of Law. In 1883, the Governor’s heirs sold 2,509 acres to William Scott to build the railroad on Virginia’s Eastern Shore, of which 136 acres became the site of the Town of Cape Charles.
