Another Wonderful Stay!

Rock Away was again a warm home-away-from-home for our family! Accommodations were everything we needed, and the owners were always in great communication with us! Neighborhood is safe, sun on the pool is perfect, and we plan to enjoy it again next year!

Another wonderful stay!

A home with lovely, comfortable amenities! Walk-in pool and hot tub were wonderful. Roomy interior with fun gathering places. Quiet neighborhood with great walking roads nearby. Very responsive owners who went beyond to make us feel welcome.

This home IS AMAZING! In a quiet neighborhood, not crazy busy traffic. Fort Myers so close for the craziness if desired. We went to 3 beaches- 3 different days. Siesta Key very busy but beautiful, Captiva not busy and was great for shelling, Fort Myers crowded with seaweed but had surf shops. Other than that our time was spent at or in the pool. The pool/ hot tub were heated. Perfection! The home had everything we could need except a colander (we just bought 1 and left it) I am sure there was 1 at some point but may have broken. Idk. The master shower.....ahhh!! It had great pressure. Views were beautiful, VERY CLEAN, home decorated so well. Our only complaint which we could have fixed was the master sheet would not stay on the bed. Lol We werent fond of the pillows either but we always bring our own. Of the 15 places we have stayed at in Florida this is the best one. We are looking forward to staying in this beautiful home again! 5 stars all around!

Quiet Cape Coral Gem

Rock Away was a wonderful property for our multi-month vacation! Clean and roomy with a very workable kitchen and several eating areas for large families. Beautiful rock-featured pool has a walk-in entry; a perfect design for older adults as well as children. Hot tub was perfect in the late evenings too. Amazing master suite and large, comfortable living room. All appliances and furniture were in very good shape. Quiet neighborhood away from retail crowds. Owners were very responsive and helpful.

What a house!

We reviewed a lot of homes in the western Florida area before choosing Rock Away - and what a perfect choice! Since we were a group of six, 4 adults (Grandma,Grandpa, daughter and husband) and two teen girls, this house had everything: perfect areas for eating and relaxing either separately or together, a wonderful kitchen stocked with everything and anything you needed for cooking, games and TVs, washer/dryer, iron, etc., a gorgeous pool and hot tub including floats and tubes and an outdoor bathroom and shower, a nice outdoor grill and ample space for eating outside, beach chairs, cooler, umbrella, etc., for trips to the beach, and a lovely seating area down at the dock on the canal. The owners couldn’t have been more accommodating either, and were always fast to answer any questions we had. We had planned some excursions during our stay but actually would have been happy just staying at the house and in the pool for the whole trip. Having rented quite a few other houses in the past this one far surpassed any of them for convenience, cleanliness, good location and ease of use because of the directions in the ‘house book.’ 

I really can’t say enough about the house - if you are on the fence about making a choice of where to stay in the Cape Coral area this is it - look no further.

Thank you, Tommi and Frank, for trusting us to rent your house. If we ever decide to go back down to Cape Coral we wouldn’t even bother looking at any other home!
